Hired Super Excavating back in mid 2017. Needed my septic tank removed and replaced and my leach field completely redone. Final cost $26,000 (not including the engineering fees, town permits ect which totalled $32,000). Of course this happened unexpectedly. I hired Jimmy Super because he seemed like a good and reliable guy and his estimate came in the middle. In his estimate he stated "supply and install asphalt repair to driveway." He did not complete this portion of the contract. I had a driveway expert come in 9 MONTHS after the "asphalt" had not hardened. I have mounds of non-asphalt in my driveway. I did contact Jimmy back in October 2017 and he came by twice to fix the issue but did not resolve the issue. Driveway expert stated that non-asphalt was used and that is why is has not hardened. I emailed Jimmy Super asking him to pay to have the job done correctly but he has not responded and that is why I am writing this review. BEWARE of this contractor, he does not complete his jobs accordingly and was not very nice when I contacted him then his wife (secretary) back in October 2017. Please do not hire this person as he will not fulfill his contract duties. Here I am 9 months later with mounds of non-asphalt in my driveway. If Jimmy could not fulfill this part of the contract hiring someone else whom is an expert in this field would have been sufficient to fulfill his contract duties but he chose to do the job himself and failed miserably. I feel I should not be held liable to pay for this since I already paid for this to be completed. What I do not understand is this was a $26,000 job but yet this company will not pay $1,000/$2,000 to have my driveway fixed correctly. Why risk your reputation for that little money????
