Superb Air Conditioning

We purchased a four ton A/C unit from these folks. They broke my chain link fence getting it in. The package unit was installed at an angle and not level to which I was told by Taddy (the owner) that it did not matter. (turns out it does matter) The wiring was left exposed and the insulation on the inside was not put in correctly but was held in place by a piece of PVC. We've had nothing but problems and each time had to wait days for the repair. They did the same repair three times where each time the A/C went out within a few days. Finally after arguing with Taddy on the phone in regards to us having to go another three days with no A/C, we made the switch to Palm Air. Their rep came over, with actual tools and devices and had the issue fixed in 1/2 hour. It had been grounded incorrectly. Our electric bills have always been high after being told that this new unit would lower them. Because of the initial faulty installation and the haphazard way things were connected I was faced with the choice of either having the unit pulled from the house, rewired, new housing installed and the whole unit leveled at a cost of just over $4000 or get a new unit for $6700. This after only 6 years. We sent photo's to a family member in Oregon that has his own A/C business and he strongly advised for us to cut our losses and get the new A/C. He actually laughed at a few of the photos and said it looked outrageous. I'm happy now with Palm Air and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere when considering Superb A/C for their A/C work at Superb A/C is anything but.

This is the first time in my life I write a negative review about anyone, but I would like to prevent someone else from being scammed.
They were recommended by a friend who I trust (who later told me she had never used them). I hired them for a yearly maintenance for my condo, whereby they agreed to come quarterly and check the system. After a year, the young man who serviced us told me he 'honestly didn't think it was worth me renewing as they don't really work on this type of unit'... I reached out to the owner who confirmed they NEVER worked on this type of unit, which made me ask myself why was I paying them?
So I called three other companies to inspect my unit and give me quotes n maintenance. They all assured me NOTHING had ever been done by the prior group. In fact, the following was discovered and was sent in a letter to Taddy, the owner:
• I had been using the wrong size air filter all along, which means your guys never even noticed that. (see attached photo showing 4 inches of filth not covered by filter)
• Evaporation coil dirty (see attached photo)
• Blower wheel dirty (see attached photo)
• Drain pan filthy (see attached photo
Furthermore their maintenance plans are a FRACTION of what I was paying. As low as $100 for yearly maintenance, the other two $144 a year.

After sending the letter, I called on mulitple occasions and NEVER received a response.

I also would not give them any stars if I could... Everything started OK. Tad (or Taddy) who is the owner of the company as I understand, was recommended by a neighbor. So I went ahead and contact him and he advised that we had to replace our AC unit (inside and outside). We went ahead and hired him. They appeared to be a decent company. Initially they told us that the unit was going to be a 4.5 ton unit however when they finished I found out that it was only a 3.5 and Taddy explained that they tweaked things to the unit so that it is more powerful and it is working as it was a 4.5. The first couple of months we did save a little on electric however then went back up to the same as before. Recently we discovered that there was water coming from the inside of the pan, and so we though that the drain line would just need to be cleaned however we tried doing that and failed! Then my contractor looked at the unit to find out that there are huge gaps in the front and side of the unit in which all the dust and junk is going in and getting the pan and coils filthy. This unit is only barely 3 years old! I called Taddy and tried to explain all these, he sent his technicians who denied that the counter-top and all that was in place whenever they installed the machine however I asked that it was, see pictures attached! Called Taddy back and he blew me out and said that it would be $385.00 for them to clean the coils and that is after we remove the counter-tops! UNBELIEVABLE!!! This is a problem of FAULTY WORKMANSHIP/FAULTY INSTALLATIONS and if they would be any type of decent company they would understand, own up to their mistakes and come fix the situation. Taddy got aggressive on the phone and stated that he is not going to argue with me and then went further to say that if I had purchased the extended maintenance program none of this would be a problem. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!
