Charged over insurance estimate due to “eagle eye” but would not tell me the amount or submit an estimate to USAA. Just kept saying I would have to pay if USAA didn’t. I had $5000 deductible. Finished roof with lots of dips. Said roof would settle. What? Finally came back and attempted to fix. Now it’s my roof’s fault. They could not fix. ??? Why ?? I asked them to come back and look at it to repair. Crickets. ... do not trust these people. They are fast talking crooks that took advantage of a older woman. They, especially the quarterback, should be ashamed. Photos taken with phone. Anyone welcome to text me to see roof. I’m not being vindictive or mean. This roof was almost $9000 and looks horrible. They did not even offer an architectural roof. Yes I am old and a retired RN but did not expect to get screwed without a kiss from a “reputable” company advertised on channel 2. Any suggestions where to go next.

By Thomas N.May 20, 2020Fix our roof$7,000
The contractor is the worst I have dealt with in the recent past. Mr. Frank replaced our roof four years ago, gave us a warranty for 2 years when it is supposed to be for a longer period.
When the roof was replaced, we called him back because the shingles were not fitted properly. He came and was not happy with us for calling him. He claimed that the shingles needed warm weather to lie flat. They never did.
Fast forward to 2020, the shingles have been blown off and we called him again. He told us that we only had 2 years of warranty! He would not even come.We called another company, and they told us that the materials that were used are very inferior and the workmanship is very poor. In fact there are some parts of the roof (top)wedge or something.
Frank is only interested in getting the job and does not stand behind his work. I would never recommend him to anybody.
He is rude and condescending. We would not recommend him at all.
Now we might have to replace the roof out of our pockets at this time of the pandemic. -

NO!! Worry about quality to fast to complete roof and move to next job. Screw current customer if anything wrong! Damaged my screen room and refused to fix it after repeated promises to fix it. Pray my roof doesn’t leak. Terrible outfit!!

I had them installed roof on rental property and roof looks so wavy. Wasn't contacted during the installation that maybe a problem with the playwood underneath. Owner know it very well that I don't live in the house and have no idea when they are going to do it. Shingles was installed in no time and claim made to my insurance company. When I contacted the owner he sent me several installers none English speaking and with sign language they kept telling me is ok.

By Robert M.December 2, 2015Roof replacement2 daysBad roofing contractor
Superior Windows & Roofing installed a new roof on my home in September 2015. It was installed a few weeks prior to a historic rainfall in South Carolina. I had signs of a roof leak during this rain event.
A water stain was seen in the great room area. The roof repair was paid for by my insurance company as a result of damage caused by hail. The repair included refinishing the ceiling in my great room, which had water stains from the roof damage.
I contacted Frank Crump, owner, via a text message, informing him of the stain. He remarked, by a text message reply, that he cannot be responsible for historic rain causing a leak and did not offer to make any repairs, other than to put a baffle on the roof to prevent water from penetrating the chimney in future rainstorms.

The install of the new roof seemed to go well and at first we were pleased. A short time after the roof was installed we noticed a leak on the roof above the screened in porch. Superior came out four times to fix. On the fourth time they said it was the skylights that were leaking. Neither leaked prior to the new roof. Superior said the skylights were not covered under their warranty and they were done. Estimates to replace the skylights are 2k to 4k. This is on top of the new roof we just paid for. I later found out that the skylights should always be replaced when a new roof is installed as the seals are usually damaged and they will leak. Also, I've talked to other roofing contractors and most always recommend to change the skylights with a new roof. Unfortunately, Superior didn't say anything until we had a leak. If we had known, the skylights could have been replaced for much less during the the new roof install.
We are very disappointed in Superior and would NOT recommend them to anyone. They are very unprofessional and do not stand behind their work. They are supposed to be the experts and should have advised us on replacing the skylights with the new roof. Now we are looking at a very expensive repair that could have been avoided.
