  Paint interior walls, ceiling, trim and doors

  I would give this painter 0 stars if I could. I hired him to paint our condo after seeing one job he did in our neighborhood. Don’t ever do your decision based on seeing one job. He had his 23 and 24-year-old son try to paint the interior of our condo and Ricky Brennan would show up about 1-2 hours but rarely picked up a paint brush. Did not prepare the walls, most walls didn’t have a second coat, they did not cut the walls or ceilings and they ruined our doors. Ricky didn’t even show up the last week and a half because he hired a journey man to help his 24 year old son while he did another job. Unfortunately very little got done and what did get done was very poor quality. Ricky had an excuse for everything. I hired him in May 2021 and he said he’d start in July 2021. When Ricky did show up on October 18th complaining that he was exhausted from doing a job all weekend long, I calmly said “ I have a job here that needs to get done.” He stood up and said “That’s it, get the ladder, we are out of here.” We never even got to the blue tape stage. At this point the other painters that have come through to give me an estimate are so appalled at the work that was done they all ask “ Was this guy licensed?” As they walk around the condo all I hear them say is “oh my gosh, I would be so mad if I were you. He should pay you to get this fixed.” See the pictures below and DON’T HIRE HIM NO MATTER WHAT LOAD OF **** HE GIVES YOU! He’ll always have an excuse as to why he isn’t going to show up. I WOULDN'T HIRE THIS PAINTER IF HE SAID HE WOULD DO THE WORK FOR FREE. THERE IS SO MUCH THAT HAS TO BE FIXED IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR BETTER THAT HE NEVER STARTED.
