If you need repairs or replacement, beware! was given a quote for services to complete a job through our management company while I was out of the country and while we had renters in our house. Told the management company to go ahead with the repairs and the work was done the next day. When the bill came in, there was no breakdown in costs. I asked for the breakdown and was given a price that was $2,200 less than the quote, only to then receive an updated price breakdown the next day for the full amount. I didn't have a problem with any of the costs associated with the work until we got to labor - $2,650 for 4.5 hours ($588.89/hour). When I called to ask about the labor hours and cost per hour, I was told, I should have asked about that prior to the job being completed!
Lesson learned - Ask them for a complete price quote prior to work being completed, could have saved $2,200 on this job!
Watch out for predatory rates!
