Did the same thing to me as Nancy but worse. Daughter are home alone living in construction zone as SVT fails to honor agreement. Every excuse in the book and not completing the job. And keeping our money. Breach of contract, likely fraud, and now playing victim. We are turning him into DOL and filing lawsuit

Don't do it. Too much drama and no shows with insane excuses. Do NOT give the 50% upfront until they are actually on the job.
