Please beware of this business and the owner Daniel Swadley. These guys have looted my advance and abandoned the job in between. I currently have a BBB complaint (BBB CASE#: 91650499) opened with them and they have not responded to it as well. Below is the case description which will give you what this business do to me, please avoid them at all costs so that you are not in a similar position. I, Arpit Rastogi, entered into a contract with Daniel Swadley of Swadley's Home Improvement on 2/21/2022 and paid 50% adv ($5750 of a total of $11,500) on 3/1/2022. The work was repair & replacement of all rotten wood on outside of my house, power washing entire house including the bricks, painting in 2 color tone, Gutter installation, Replace window screens across the house, caulk all windows and doors & paint exterior doors. The work was scheduled to start on 3/7 but Daniel requested a reschedule to 3/14 and finally starting on 3/16. He committed to complete by 3/25 but the work is not even half done as of today 4/7 with him being non-reachable over calls/texts/emails. He has not responded to my emails and actually has blocked my number. The only work he has completed is repair/replacement of the rotten wood (however, there may still be areas that need repairs/replacements) and the material used are sub-standard. He started with the paint and has 1.5 side of the house done one coat. Below is the remaining work, excluding areas that are not visible from the ground (I cannot comment unless I can see those unreachable hidden areas): 1.) Repairs, caulking and painting on the top story of the house. Finding and replacing any other remaining rotten wood on the outside of the house apart from repairs already made. 2.) Paint and some caulking on all sides of the house (a coat of paint is done on one side and back of the house) as well as the top story, chimney & garage 3.) Gutters and leaf guard installation and on all sides on the first and second story of the house 4.) Replacing missing or damaged window screens around the house 5.) Caulking all windows and doors in the house 6.) Sealing all cracks in the outside bricks of the house 7.) Painting the outside doors 8.) Painting job in 2 tones Lastly, post repair to the chimney, there was water coming down the chimney during the rain. We never had that problem before the repairs to chimney. I have pictures and signed contract documents to prove all of above but am helpless at this time. The company's physical address on different websites is also not correct. I went to the address (2410 Crestview Drive, McKinney, TX 75071) and found out that this is not his current address anymore and that he had sold this property off back in 2017.
