    Kitchen remodel

    We added a 12x15 foot addition to our home, doubling the size of our kitchen. Completely gutted the existing kitchen and started over. This included all new cabinets, flooring countertops-adding a large island, plumbing fixtures, lighting, a pantry, cork flooring and a small deck. We also redid the hall and bathroom and replaced old paneling in the living room, hall and dining room with drywall and paint.

    We chose Swift Builders to do the job and are very happy that we did.
    Evan worked with us on a budget that fit our goals and was conscientious about communicating with us throughout the process. I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get the design and color support we had hoped for, I should have pursued this more, but didn’t. Otherwise we were very happy.

    Our Project Manager, Pat was great! He knew every little detail about how to pull all this together and as the carpenter did excellent work.

    We had two big issues, one with the cabinets and the other with the painters. Due to Evan’s persistence, both issues were ultimately resolved to our satisfaction.

    We have kind of an odd house, modified A frame with large stone fireplace on the wall next to the addition, but Pat and Evan were able to figure out how to make it all work. We are especially happy with Pat’s suggestion on how to do our deck, it works much better than designed.

    They were able to make the kitchen addition project look consistent with the existing house by tracking down appropriate materials and paint.

    Evan and Pat were always professional, knowledgeable and willing to work with us on every aspect of the job. When the flooring place they got the bid from came in outrageous, Evan found another company without question.

    Subcontractors said they liked working with Swift because they are such professionals and they got paid in timely manner

    Our payment process was up front and done increments per pre-established timelines, with no surprises.

    Overall we are very pleased with outcome and have received many compliments on our new kitchen.
