  I just had our pool done by Swimming Pools by Ike. Jr. and I am totally satisfied with the job they have done. Our pool is modern looking, we got great pool equipment, and our decking is beautiful. We upgraded to travertine decking and also upgraded to glass tiles. The work they have done is excellent. We had no problems except for a few broken glass from our screen guy throwing crap in the spa and a rod on one of the steps and they replaced them without any issues. I would highly recommend them. I feel Erik cares about the customer. I can only go by my experience and I can honestly say it was a pleasure working with them and I would definitely use them if I ever were to have a pool built and I would also recommend them to anyone.

  For almost a year I've been waiting for my pool to be finished. Nothing stood in our way, there was no weather problems, no access issues, nothing! Still, a year later, I have a pool but it's not finished. I have a punchlist of items for 4 months that have mostly been Ignored by this company. Files on BBB, but since Swimming Pools By Ike Jr has a paying membership, they manage to quash that quickly. Broken promises to get my business like 'select tile' which was never given, I don't even know if there is such a thing or if the owner made it up. I have spoken to several people who dealt with them. They mostly say it was a good company when the father and grandfather owned it, but since they passed away, it's gone downhill (in fact, a worker told me the same). Their salesperson Robbin has a knack of making false promises, never returns phone calls, and continually tries to turn the blame on me for them not doing their job. I have a pool leak in my new pool, they still haven't addressed it. My tiles are cracked all over the place. My lights have caked in diamond brite behind them, making them stick out in the pool, all lights had to be replaced at least once so far (again, pool is only active for 2 months now), back of pool looks like a construction site, never finished off the wall, drain in pool not completely fastened because they ran out of the proper screws. Tiles uneven everywhere, even though I paid an extra $700 for rock fill and special sand to prevent sinking and weeds. Already have weeds. Tiles have a puddle right in the middle of my backyard where water settles and gets filthy. Chunks of cement everywhere including skimmer, on some tiles. They left spikes and nails sticking out of the back of the pool, their guy came by and clipped them and they think they resolved all the issues because they haven't been back. 50k for a pool and a nightmare from start to finish. Everyone should know what to expect from them. Be careful, they'll speak very nicely and calmly to you before and during the sale. DO NOT make final payment or agree to that in the contract, like I did. Once I did that, all effort and care stopped. They have their money and they know it. I read many reviews before selecting my pool company. Not enough info about his company and BBB is politically controlled. In ONE word.... NO!
