    Replace an existing front railing
    $2,180

    Dreadful experience with this contractor. Expected cash down which we paid. The job was a relatively simple job of replacing a front porch railing. On the day of the job, we were home for him to ask questions regarding such issues as removal of surrounding bushes. After he left we noticed he had destroyed a 30 year old oak leaf specimen Maple. In addition the railing wobbled. He returned to correct the wobble but his quality workmanship got worse as he damaged the vinyl materials we paid for. Then we noticed he cut into the main wood posts holding up our porch overhang. When we asked why he didn’t at least fill the holes with wood putty he shrugged it off and said he would have to read the manufactures instructions on how to use it. If this is the sort of quality workmanship you are looking for then Bill is your guy. As senior citizens this was the absolute worst treatment anyone can hope for! Keep shopping. This workmanship is not worth the money!
