  outside counter top

  I waited a year to get my granite counter top and when he came to install it it was not the shape i had asked for.
  I had asked and showed him a rough drawing and he said he understood what I wanted and rounded edges.
  I was there when he came and i told him it was not right he told me i had to talk to my contractor but we met with Don and picked out the granite and i had paid him when the bill came not my contactor so i dealt directly with him.
  He had charge me an additional $800.00 for the granite over what he had quoted me so also the edges were chipped and had glue over many arears of the granite and he used grout to join the 2 pieces together and it is not secured to the counter.
  hen i asked why it cost more he said he miss figured and he would make me a small table for my patio out of the balance of the granite which he never did.
  So the job never got finished and i should have NEVER paid him until it was finished.
  I am out $5K for nothing.
  I will be filling in small claims court.
  My contactor has tried to contact him to make it right but he does not respond.
  The one time i talked to him on the phone he was VERY rude and condescending and then hung up on me.
  My Contractor referred me to Don and my wife and i met with him to pick the piece of granite out and he said it would be enough for our job after he measured it.

  Bathroom and kitchen quartz counters

  Don Southard has installed countertops for us in master bathrooms and kitchens in two houses. In each case the templates were intricate, obtaining the material we wanted was complex and the finished product was perfectly done! A wonderful experience from start to finish

  Don was pleasant and gave us estimate in timely fashion and we hired them to replace countertops in kitchen and bathrooms. On time and they cleaned up afterwards.

  We were referred and called. Don was very friendly. We were asking about granite remnant pieces for our kitchen island. Don said yes, come over and look around. We did and found a piece we loved. A worker came out with a marker and we put our name on it. We called Don with that info and asked when it could be installed, he said, "this week." Never happened, so we called Don again, asking again when it could be installed, he said call Monday, it would be done then. We called @1:30 pm not hearing anything and got his recording, so we told him we were bowing out. He just didn't give us reliable customer service. Our business wasn't important to him evidently. So we went elsewhere where we got actual granite instead of mere talk.
