This letter is to complain about service I received from Mr. Timothy Taylor. I incurred heat water damage at my residence in Irmo, S.C. I was referred to Mr. Timothy Taylor back In July of 2019. I contracted Mr. Timothy Taylor to make extensive repairs to my home to include painting, floor replacement, total bathroom repair to include painting flooring, toilet replacement, paint kitchen, replace drywall, master bedroom, change out values etc. as defined in a signed contract (please see contract attached for total repairs). Prior to the repairs, he visited my home to give an estimate. The State farm agent was also present at the repair consultation. Mr. Taylor assured me he could complete the job for $8,459.00. To secure his service, he advised me that I needed to pay half of the total cost. On July 31, 2019, I wrote a check to Mr. Taylor for $3,979.00. However, Mr. Taylor has provided less than desirable service and have not honored his contract.
Mr. Taylor was paid additional funds on August 28, 2019 in the amount of 1,500.00 and another 3,000.00 on September 12, 2019. To date, the job is still not complete. Mr. Taylor half painted my walls and included my clothes and pictures in the process of painting. I currently have a bathroom that I cannot use at all. He has taken the floor up three times to correct at an additional expense to me. Now there is no flooring in place and the bathroom is in disarray. The toilet isn’t even installed for use. Materials have been left all over my home. You can visibly see the threshold secured with blue tape. The walls are horrible. All of my light plates for light switch are missing, vents not in place, materials left loosely around my home. I cannot comfortably reside in my home because it’s in such disarray. I called Mr. Taylor back to complete the job correctly on several occasions. He would show up one week and then I would not see or hear from him again for several weeks at a time. When he did show, he only provided incomplete service. Needless to say, it is December 16, 2019 and the job is still not completed.
In addition to the mental stress of my home not being repaired as promised, I learned that Mr. Taylor had other people in and out of my home without my approval. I traveled out of town and gave Mr. Taylor access to my home to complete the project he was hired to complete. To my dismay, a person that he hired to help complete the job had been residing in and washing clothes in my home while I was away according to a text that I received from his wife accusing me of being his mistress. I still have a record of this text as proof. I have had to have my mobile provider block her from my phone. This is totally unacceptable and extremely stressful. I asked Mr. Taylor that this worker not return to my home.
I expected a much higher level of service, and I am quite disappointed and extremely mentally stressed. Because I do not want to spend any more time on this problem, I have asked Mr. Taylor to return all money paid to him. I expect a full refund. However, I have not had any success. I am unable to provide funds to a new contactor to clean up his shabby work provided in my home.

Never finish job. Took money and quit. Took up half of a wooden floor and put a new floor over a half stripped floor. Horrible job very unprofessional!
