Our house was flooded on Jan 16, 2017. We hired Taylor Renovations They were the worst company I ever worked with. They lied to us about many things, they told us they ordered our tile and never did. Their workmanship was shotty at best. They kept asking us for money even when things were not done.

We hired Taylor Renovations to remodel our kitchen on August 27th and the job was supposed to have been completed by September 7th. Taylor Renovations has taken our money and has left our kitchen unfinished and with poor quality workmanship.
Some of the issues in our kitchen are as follows: (Pictures of our kitchen has been posted with our review on Angie’s List)
-Soft Close has not been put on the drawers.-Butcher block was put on crooked and edge left chipped.
-Grout for backsplash left unfinished and has several holes in it.
-Crown molding and trim partially painted with clumps of caulking where the seams come together.
-Missing cabinet shelves
- Drawer on our island doesn’t close all the way. A piece was supposed to have been ordered to fix this but it was never done.
-Caulking smeared on cabinets.
- Cabinet and range hood was placed so closely that when you open cabinet door it gets damaged by range hood.
-The drywall on the soffits they built are not smooth at all and have what I would describe as gouges and still needs painting.
-Boxed in refrigerator cabinets and panel was not done correctly. The panel was not painted to match the cabinets and soffit. Clumps of caulking left on seams between the panel and soffit. The cabinets over fridge was just sat in the middle with gapping on both sides.
-Upper cabinets next to my range hood were put in so close that when you open the door the cabinet is damaged. The corner cabinet next to it you can’t ooen all the way without it banging into the cabinet next to it.
My husband and I have tried reaching out to Dennis Sr. and Jr. Multiple times over the past month and half. We contacted the BBB and they have tried to reach them for a month and they have refused to respond. We have also contacted the Attorney General’s Office and they have yet to respond to them either. Taylor Renovations have given us nothing but excuses and lies!
BEWARE! Check BBB we are not the only ones they have done this to. The Attorney General’s office made a recommendation that all complaints against contractors like Taylor Renovations should be filed with them, as they have the authority to file suit against them to stop them from doing this to others. My husband and I are first time homebuyers and we were so excited about starting renovations in our new home. Taylor Renovations has turned an exciting time in our life into a stressful and horrible experience. We thought we were doing everything to prevent this sort of thing from happening by being cautious researching the company, making sure they were licensed , bonded, and insured. Very disappointed!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Read a lot of great reviews prior to choosing them, however, our experience was terrible. Very unprofessional, poor communication and we were lied to over and over. We only kept our contract with them because they subcontracted our remodel to someone else, however, Taylor Renovations walked away after we paid 2/3. Luckily, the subcontractor has been more trustworthy and is finishing the job.

We used Taylor renovations for our kitchen remodel in 2016. We had just had a baby and they were very respectful and informative if they were going to be loud. If I would not have been on leave with my wife and baby, they would have made some errors I would not have been happy about but I was able to oversee everything and correct issues as they came up. We were very happy with out final product. The staff was very friendly. We would use them again.
