Dishonest and Untrustworthy – TCA HVAC Will Change Their Story
I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with TCA HVAC LLC. Their representative, Jamie, originally read me the technician’s report out loud over the phone, including timestamps and the date.
Later, Jamie changed her story and told me the leak was pre-existing — not based on any new evidence, but because she said she "got in trouble by her boss." This is outrageous and highly unprofessional. Changing your official findings to protect internal interests or outside partners shows a complete lack of integrity.
On top of that, the technician never provided, nor could they prove, that the leak was pre-existing. There was no evidence, or any diagnostic data to support that conclusion. The claim was entirely unsubstantiated.
This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable in any business, especially when customers are relying on you for accurate diagnostics and fair reporting. If a company is willing to rewrite reports to serve someone else's agenda, they cannot be trusted.
Do not use TCA HVAC if you expect transparency, ethics, or accountability. I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with them. -

TCA HVAC has been not so good on my behalf! After being assigned by AHS to repair my Air conditioning on 8/4/24 I’ve been back and forth with this company AHS agreed to pay for full replacement of my HVAC system after TCA HVAC was assigned they did their assessment of my unit and agreed to accept the job !! Be advised this was when temperatures were soaring in the 100 degrees in Baker this company came up with a ridiculous out of pocket fee that I would have to pay in addition to what AHS is paying in the amount of 5,175 $ I discuss my dissatisfaction of this amount with TCA and they claim it on upgrade and modification I’ve talk with other companies who totally disagree with this elevated extra fee !!! I fine this company to be dishonest and price gouging individuals it’s 8/17/24 and im still waiting!!! I would not recommend this company!!!

DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH: TCA HVAC, LLC. They also go by another name: Enviro Mechanical Services with the same address and phone number.
I have a home warranty with American Home Shield. I have used them many times throughout the years and never had a problem. Unfortunately, they are choosing unreliable and dishonest contractors to do their warranty work now.
On May 19, 2023, my central air conditioning stopped cooling. I made a claim with American Home Shield. TCA HVAC, LLC, 10250 Park Place, Hammond, Louisiana 70403 – (225) 414-1003 was assigned to do my service work. Someone came on Saturday, May 21, 2023, and took one look at the unit outside and said it was frozen up and told my 86 year old mom that they would have to come back next week but did not give a date. They left the unit running and even I know that the unit had to be turned off in order for it to thaw. At any rate, they came back in 2 days and advised that the evaporator coil needed to be replaced and they had to get a report in to American Home Shield in order to get it ordered. They advised that they would get the report in as soon as possible but legally they had 24 to 48 hours to do so and of course, it was 48 hours. American Home Shield called me and advised that TCA HVAC, LLC had included in their report that some upgrades needed to be done in order for the unit to be up to code (i.e. copper tubing replaced, 10 pounds of freon at $99.00 per pound and other things that were not disclosed to me) and the upgrades would need to be covered by me as they were only responsible for the evaporator coil. The non-covered charges were approximately $3,600.00 which seemed high to me. After 3 weeks of going back and forth with the contractor and the home warranty company (each blaming the other on the holdup), I decided to get a second opinion. I called Riggins Mechanical – Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC, 32132 Cane Market Road, Walker, LA 70785 – 225-571-5446. Riggins Mechanical came out the same day I contacted them. It was storming so they promised to come back the next morning to check everything out and they did. Within 30 minutes, my air was working again and all that was needed was 2 pounds of freon at $40.00 per pound and connected to electricity in my attic. TCA HVAC, LLC had disconnected my unit in the attic in order for it not to come back on and had reported to me that the unit would not come on at all. I feel it is criminal what this company did as they were trying to scam me for around $3,600.00 and my mom who is 86 years old and I were living in a home with no air with summer temperatures rising. TCA HVAC, LLC is a very dishonest company, and I would never do business with them. And yes, I am reporting the to the Licensing Board and the Better Business Bureau. If nothing comes out of it, at least I hope those of you that read this will not be scammed by them.
I would recommend you doing business with Riggins Mechanical – Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC as they are honest and prompt in doing the repairs.

Our central air stopped working on May 8, (225-414-1003) to service the unit. On May 13, the technician determined that the unit was too old to repair and would need to be replaced. However, AHS informed me that the replacement wouldn't be covered at 100%. To cover the $6,500 quoted for the replacement, we had to take out a loan.
The unit was ordered, but installation didn’t happen until May 31. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get it working because of an issue with a line and the lack of necessary parts. They had to schedule another visit. On June 3, two different technicians came and still couldn't fix the unit, and on June 4, I finally received a message from someone at the company, this would be the last message I would receive from this individual. Then, on June 10, another technician came out and recommended replacing the attic ductwork.
After that, the person I had been texting stopped responding altogether. On June 16, someone named Jeff or Jeffery called and quoted $7,900 for replacing the ductwork, claiming AHS wouldn’t cover it. I double-checked my policy and even called AHS, and was informed that ductwork is covered up to $15,000. Jeff said he had another solution but needed to check with his supplier and would call me back the following morning. Today is June 23, and I still haven't heard from him. I’ve called him four times and left a message each time, but I’ve received no response.
This company has been incredibly frustrating to work with, and I feel that they’ve been dishonest with both me and AHS. Despite being told ductwork is covered, Jeff was adamant that it wouldn’t be, and they were pushing for additional charges beyond the cost of the new unit. It’s been nearly two months, and our air is still not functioning properly.
