Review of ConnecTED Electrical for Remodel Project
ConnecTED Electrical was hired to complete a remodel project in my home. The electrician, Ted Colvin, started out friendly and competent, but I was quickly disappointed with his work ethic and professionalism.
Mr. Colvin worked extremely slowly, and in some cases, he did not use top-quality materials. He also poked around to find other problems with my electrical system without being asked, and then took it upon himself to repair them without my authorization. I am not sure if any of the repairs were actually necessary, and they ended up costing me a lot more money than I had anticipated.
When Mr. Colvin became overwhelmed or could not solve a problem, he would throw a tantrum and blame others, including me. He also constantly complained about my electrical computer system and said very unprofessional things to me.
In addition, Mr. Colvin would often engage my other subcontractors, such as painters, cabinetmakers, and even gutter repairmen, unnecessarily. He also took countless trips to the electrical store and Home Depot, all while charging his hourly rate.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the services provided by ConnecTED Electrical. Mr. Colvin may be fine for very small projects, but I would not recommend him for anything more.
