How do I leave Negative Stars??
This is my experience with Temo's Landscape and it's employees:
Bait and switch... multiple times;
1. Early in the spring, I spent an hour with their guy walking him through my property as he prepared a written estimate for spring clean-up and regular maintenance; after they had to reschedule a time or two, other guys did half the work of the spring clean-up and then stopped and said it was 'misquoted'. Owner said to finish the work would be more money (over double the amount), but it was at their cost - so it was a 'good deal'!
2. Got an estimate from them for pressure washing, owner scheduled it two weeks out as the soonest he could do it, I confirm w owner via email 3 days ahead (so that I could clear the area) - I spent over a hour 'preparing' the site for them, owner calls me the day before to say that the pressure washer broke, and the quote was wrong, and they couldn't do the work, they would credit me the $ to find someone else. This is TWO DAYS before Memorial Day weekend and all the family was coming. Leaving me high and dry.
Can you believe, despite the above, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and continued business with them. The guys did great work in the yard, they didn't get it all done each week, but they rotated different areas of the yard so eventually it all did get done week over week. I even sent email to the owner multiple times stating the guys were doing great work, and showed my respect by paying the invoice the day I received it.
Now the latest, I get a call from the owner, on the day they are DUE to do the weekly maintenance, and he states that he has to cut back and is not going to be able to service my account anymore effective immediately (that is why they didn't show up as scheduled that day). I did not even give him the opportunity to play the BAIT AND SWITCH GAME AGAIN because by now, I see this company's method of operation clearly as extremely unprofessional and border line scam. I have no interest in doing business with people who have no integrity to their commitments, especially when you try to offer grace and give them every opportunity to rise up, as alas - that was never their intention.
That's just my experience, however, it might be yours too, if you choose to do business with Temo's Landscape.
