Very difficult to get this contractor to break down the costs of his bid. He could not provide an itemized list of repairs and costs. It was always one excuse after another... computer broke down, software issues, working 12 hours a day to get another job completed... you name it!
At the end, I found out that he didn't have insurance coverage (it lapsed according to him). With this experience, I probably would not hire him for any job simple because it took almost two weeks of back and forth to get a soft bid, with the agreement that he could revise the bid to a firm bid after closing.
