Tetra HVAC/Mechanical Contractor
Our creators decided to start our company because they were tired of how difficult it was to get an air conditioner installation in Newton, MA or repaired. We developed a simpler method for homeowners to get their heating and cooling systems fixed quickly and economically after months of research and development. Homeowners should be entitled to better than unending phone hold times, uncertainty, and lengthy pricing comparisons. Tetra is what we came up with. The company Tetra offers household services that simplify updating heating and cooling systems. We modernized an outdated process, which helped homeowners save time, money, and a lot of frustration. We promise the lowest prices while offering the greatest customer service in the business, hassle-free transactions, and the top sustainable energy products. Call us now!

Tetra was great at selling me mini splits, but once I bought the product, things went downhill fast. After the purchase, Tetra's communication was very minimal and I had to bother them to get information. Also, the person who came out to my home to make estimates and say where the new equipment was to go was inaccurate. I made some moves a few bushes in my yard, and then didn't actually need to do that at all. That same technician was supposed to talk with my electrician, but never did. Tetra said I needed and electrical upgrade, and after getting an estimate for a new panel, Tetra said they included a sub panel in the estimate. Very confusing. After all of that was sort of fixed, I was unable to have the project manager schedule a date for the work to be done. This was made even worse when Tetra estimated that it would take 1-2 days for the install, but the technician who was installing the system said it would take almost 7 days. This is significant because they need access to the home and a lot to coordinate with time from work. Finally, there were major snafus with getting the product they sold me to my home and a large scratch on a condensor. To get another one with out the scratch would have delayed installation for another month. Also, the had a private delivery person drop off the unit, but they used a forklift to put it on his truck. Me and the driver had to take it off his truck and put it on my porch. I am lucky I am healthy enough to do this task. All said and done, I think they just wanted to make the sale and cared very little about the rest. I would never recommend this company. I hope MassSave moves from this company as they should not represent a state run incentive.
