HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, UNPROFESSIONAL & INCOMPETENT! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Our warranty company sent them out for the air conditioner downstairs, when they left, the upstairs unit wasn't working properly. We thought it was a thermostat issue but once I replaced the batteries, the thermostat worked fine. The tech (that we asked not to be sent to our home again) came and changed out a perfectly good thermostat and did not check the AC unit at all. He was on a personal call talking about his mother and sister the entire time. We had to schedule yet another appointment (appointment 3 or 4, lost count) requested an early appointment for another tech to come out and noticed that the time frame ran into the afternoon. Called to get an ETA and ask that our costly thermostat that worked fine be returned and that they pick up the $3 thermostat they left... the call ended with them canceling the service call. This company accepts ZERO accountability for the incompetence of its technicians and customer service team. This company should not be in business. Fair warning, call another A/C and Heating company if you want your systems functioning properly!

What a great company ! I think these people were crazy. Everyone was pleasant. My grandma's a/c went out and they went beyond what I would expect. She had it fixed within 2 days even with a complete new system.

Hired the contractor for a multifamily project. They do not pay their bills. Shoddy work and against code. Would highly suggest going elsewhere for any A/C or heating work. Had to bring in another company to clean up what they messed up. Virtually had to have the entire project reinstalled.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They said they were waiting for a part to arrive and then AFTER almost 2 MONTHS of making me wait they just said they didn't know how to work on the AC on my property. If they had communicated that they could not fix my ac that the first time they came to do a "diagnosis" (I really doubt they knew what they were doing) it would have been okay but instead, they kept telling me and my home warranty that we just had to wait for the part to arrive. I wanted to work with another company after so much poor communication and unprofessionalism weeks ago but was stuck with them due to my home warranty since, as I've stated, Texas AC & heat kept assuring us they were just waiting for a part to arrive only in the end to say they didn't know how to fix my ac. Thankfully my home warranty has reassigned me to a different company. Working with Texas AC & heat was stressful and a waste of time. They do not care at all.

Fix My AC Unit
I have had a terrible experience with Texas A/C & Heat and I don't think anyone should work with this company again. I have been having issues with my A/C unit for the last 4 months and I've had to come out of pocket to hire other companies to tell me what the problem with my unit is because for some reason the tech could never figure it out. Once I get the true issue I would then have to call out Texas A/C and Heat, and once I told them what I know they would seem shocked and pretend like they knew what was going on. Long story short I got a new Evap Coil & Condenser only to find out the AC unit Copper pipes were not welded on correctly, therefore creating a leak. I contacted Texas A/C and Heat to explain the problem and they told me they would send someone out, well the day they were to send someone out he straight up no showed and I nobody called me to tell me anything. By the way this happened one other time where I was told I had an appointment and I called to verify and some kind of way I wasn't on the schedule the day of my appointment. At the end of the day Texas AC & Heat was very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Stay Away!

It's a shame there's nothing lower than 1 Star....Texas A/C & Heat SUCKS!!!! If Choice Home Warranty sends them to your house, reject Texas A/C & Heat and request another contractor. Darius with Texas A/C diagnosed the problem as a defective blower on 08/17/2021. He gladly took the $75.00 service fee and SAID they would order the part. Today it's 09/03/2021 and Texas A/C said they can't get the part and they turned the claim back to Choice. Based on this, Texas A/C does not have a reliable supply chain and all the 1 Star reviews confirm how incredible poorly they conduct business and how they scam the home warranty system. If Texas A/C plans to blame the lack of parts on COVID, shame on them. COVID is just a weak excuse for this incompetent company. Since so many days have passed, I have requested Choice to replace the entire HVAC unit. I will reported Texas A/C & Heat to the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation and Better Business Bureau.

If there was an option for ZERO stars, I would put ZERO STARS. Texas A/C and Heat will not get paid or money off me or my warranty company due to their horrible customer service. The initial communication determines if they are worthy and they ARE NOT. My property was scheduled but I get a call from the office saying the tech is running behind and will show up later than expected. No one ever called me or showed up to fix our A/C. Then I received an email saying our appointment was rescheduled for the next day. Fast forward to the day of the rescheduled appt and I do not receive a call from the tech but do receive an email saying our appt has been rescheduled for Monday. This request was made Tuesday 8/24/2021. Initial appt was for 8/26/2021 then rescheduled 8/27/2021 and now rescheduled for Monday 8/30/2021. Absolutely unacceptable. My warranty company will take action so they DO NOT refer their customers to such lousy contractors. PERIOD.

All these bad reviews are very accurate. I have never wrote a bad review on any company as i can imagine how it would impact their business. Obviously Texas A/C and Heat does not care about what people think of them. I am sorry that I did not read the reviews ahead of time before I reached out to them.
I have dealt with many contractors over many years as this is my line of work, and I must say they are the worst company I have ever experienced. They came to do a fridge repair job back in January of 2021, charged me over $500 for the replacement part, installed it, and ended up with still a non-functional fridge. I called the office many times, spoke with a Michelle, then later spoke with a Sarah, and they kept telling me the same thing that someone will call be back. I finally called Kirk, and he gave me bunch of excuses not to mention is curtness-very rude. He said he will look into it and call me back and of course he did not! Well many months passed, we are in August now and I have given up. I ended buying a new fridge, and out the monies I paid them.
They are the most awful company I have ever dealt with. I wish I could rate them with a 0 star. Because of this miserable experience and being scammed $600.00, I will now look at all reviews of any company I intend to use in the future.

A technician came from this company through my warranty company because my A/C unit is not cooling below 85. He spent 5 min before recommending to clean the coils for which he asked $400. I asked him if he can give me any assurance if the until will cool after spending $400 and he said "NO". I asked him to check for any other potential issues before concluding and he got mad at me and left. I called their customer service and they were the rudest people I ever spoke to. They are cheats who just want to up sell and make money the easiest way. No wonder they have "F" rating on BBB and 1 star on any review website on the net. I am yet to see any positive feedback about this company.

While I did not directly hire this company my home warranty company did.
We set an appointment time at first for Saturday July 24 for between 10a to 2p, then I get an email to reschedule for the same day but from 11a to 3p. After waiting for them to call me to let me know they were coming out, I get yet another email rescheduling the appointment for Monday July 26 for 11a to 3p again, I called them to get a rough time they would show up and was put on hold, I only have 30 minutes for my lunch and just couldn't wait, they had my number and could've called but didn't, instead I get yet another email rescheduling the appointment for Wednesday July 28 for 12a to 3p. I find this to be unacceptable, we are in the Texas summer it's now 100 with a heat index of 105 plus, I have a 73 year old mother in this heat and can not play these games.
I do not blame the warranty company, the blame is on this ac company. Looking over the other reviews I'm happy I don't have to have them come out to my home. The warranty company took action right away and will have a different company come out. Hopefully the warranty company will drop this company because they ( the ac company) is making the warranty company look bad.

I would normally never waste my time to write a review but I felt I really owed one to the community. First word I would like to use the line - "Please Beware of this company." I had to call this company 5 times to fix the same A/C issue. They first replaced the capacitor and every time a tech comes in says that the last tech was wrong in the diagnosis. Finally the tech changed the motor but the quality of the motor was so cheap that it did not work at all. I had to finally call a different company who fixed my motor like a magic and never had any issues after that. The business owner, Kurt is a total jerk and would hang up customers calls. This company should be out of business soon the way they behave with their customers! I wish I could give them 0 stars.

Choice Home warranty assigned this company to my claim that I made on 2/14/21 and due to icy roads, they made it to my house on 2/16/21 at 7 pm which I am not upset about and I told them. I told them we have electricity and can keep warm till they get to me house. The tech really didn't check anything and said one of the units is not working but my original order said 2 which obviously the Texas AC and Heat made a mistake. The tech called his boss and I got a call from him screaming, cussing me and calling me all sort of names because he was upset I wasted his time. My 2 AC (heating) units are not working and the tech one of the unit is not running so how did I waste his time? Did I tell him it was an emergency? No. That's why I waited 2 days for them. Then he started harassing me and called me numerous time cussing. I kept telling him that I was recording our conversation but he continued to call back to back cussing and raising his voice. I also have a screen shot of the number of times he called me. Who does business like this???? I will definitely report this business to Choice home warranty and whatever agency he is associate with. STAY AWAY from this company!

TERRIBLE! But I am assuming that is no shock after reading these reviews! I had all of the problems that everyone else has had. No shows multiple I might add. No regard for the customers time. All of these people should contact Reliant and Home choice. They need to find someone else to do their warranty work!

How do I submit this without a star at all. worst company and customer service EVER! # times they did not show up for the appointment scheduled. The 3rd time they had the audacity to tell me that I called a few days ago and rescheduled my appointment for saturday AFTER I received a confirmation this morning confirming my appointment for TODAY.

This company is terrible terrible terrible. They are so bad beyond you can imagine. They forgot to pick up the part for my air conditioner repair. The guy named Curt is very RUDE and UNPROFESSTIONAL. The lady name Jocey was very RUDE too. Only person who was nice was named June, but she is not there all the time. I was signed to this company by Choice home warranty. Choice home warranty is the worst home warranty in this world. You can imagine what happened to my repair from these two matched WORST COMPANIES!!! DO NOT USE TX AC & HEAT! DO NOT USE CHOICE HOME WARRANTY!!!

All of the horrible reviews are accurate! These guys came out sent from Choice Home Warranty and of course nothing that they claim was wrong was covered. $400 dollars later, they did not bother to reconnect the water drain line which was disconnected by them and leaked all night and damaged ceilings in one bathroom and a hallway. After over 2 months of making us get bids for repairs they will not respond to my emails as to reimburse the $1200 repairs. I was informed by the supervisor to go ahead and take him to small claims court, he has been threatened with that many times and I am so sure that is true!!!

Texas AC & Heat is a complete joke of a business...if you even want to call them that. Choice Home Warranty assigned my claim to them, and I was promised 4 different times for the technician to arrive. NONE ever occurred, and NOT ONCE did I get a call letting me know of the delays. When I called and FINALLY spoke with Amanda after probably 10 voice messages, she was like "oh well, so sorry. Our guy got busy". After waiting 2 1/2 days in 100+ heat, and the inside of my home at 90+, I called my own local repairman, and he was here in less than two hours, diagnosed the issue, and had it repaired in under 30 minutes. I would NEVER suggest anyone using Choice Home Warranty or Texas AC & Heat...EVER!!! I have to rate at least one star, but would be less if I could.

This company is a total scam. I very rarely write negative reviews but do yourself a favor and DO NOT get services from this company. They are a TOTAL nightmare and I do not want any of those guys back into my home. Its been over a month of these people just popping up at my home unannounced and than not coming when they say they're coming and than sending a guy to my home after they were asked to not send him anymore. We've missed work for these people and for NOTHING. These people have been in my home literally about a dozen times. The owner, aware of this ongoing and unresolved issue, never took it upon himself to make things right by at least coming himself to see what is going on and why can't his workers simply put in a new motor and make it work. There is way more that I can say on here but I cannot possibly go into every detail of my experience with these people which say a lot. Finally they sent someone else who got the AC working for about a week and a half and now its out again. Told landlord that we are not putting up with this anymore. Now landlord is going to take another route.

If you have Choice home warranty or no warranty at all do not use Texas A/C & heat. My experience with them was terrible they was sent to my home about a leak they told 1st thing it was a maintenance issue and choice would not pay they then said that they could fix it for 325.00 well the next day still had the same issue so obliviously the 325.00 didn't fix the issue had the same men back out they claimed it was my coils needed cleaning sent those same repair men back out here it took them a good 10min to clean the coils. I felt line they use me because I am a single woman. Service was terrible and I will never use again they should have refunded my 325.00 Hope they think my given them a bad review on multiple social media and BB is worth it!
