My experience is similar to many others, this company doesn't honor any of their commitments, and they have no moral compass. Once they have your money you will never hear back from them. If you do get a message, it is full of excuses of why they aren't working and future promises (which they never keep). DON'T BELEIVE THEIR BS! They are scam artists pure and simple.

    patio

We also signed a contract in July 2022 with Texas Patios and Concrete. We gave the owner, Daniel, 50% of the total project price in October 2021 to start the project. We have been in contact with him every few weeks for a full year now. They have NOT started the project. It is now November 2022 and they have not started!!! Nothing. When Daniel does call, he will use the excuse of being in Mexico. He has said his mother (who supposedly lives in Mexico) has cancer. If this is true, I am sorry and hope she fights a good fight. But Daniel needs to honor his commitments. We are frustrated and tried to be kind. But enough is enough! Whatever you do please be diligent and do not do business with them. They will charm you and even beg for your business. Do not fall for this. This is not a honest company and you will be disappointed if you sign a contract. has anyone sued him, if so please provide details.

    **SCAM SCAM SCAM***
We have signed the contract in June with this company.
We gave the owner Daniel Morales 50% of amount of the total project. First 2 months he has been saying waiting for City approval for permit.
After 2 months he came up and gave 2 options, either get your refund or wait for another 2 months for project start.
We decided to take our “hard earned” money back from this scammer.
He sent written letter of his company saying 3 dates of payment refund after 2 months but did not pay a single penny to me. Literally saying that I don’t have money.
DONT give your hard earned money to this Scammer company. He will take your money and never comeback.
He (Daniel) makes you keep calling and giving 100 new excuses every time.
Most of the time he never picks up calls.
Don’t know how many scams he has done so far in Dallas area.

Gable Roof Patio Cover & Stone Flower Bed
    $30,000

We are incredibly happy with the work that Texas Patios did for us! They did a gable roof patio cover in the back and a tiered Austin stone flower bed all along the front of our house. Each project was better than we expected or could have hoped for! The workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding! The communication with everyone was excellent. They worked quickly efficiently and very professional. Even their cleanup on a daily basis was great! Texas patios will definitely have all of our work in the future!

cover patio slab, bar, fireplace, sink
    $60,000

We hired Daniel and his team to build a new covered slab patio with bar, fireplace, and sink. The project may have taken longer than expected due to COVID but my family and I are happy with the final product. No project is ever 100% perfect but made an amazing patio.

    Outdoor Kitchen
    $5,500

can't say enough about the quality of work and professionalism. I don't make a habit of writing reviews if am being honest, and it is only when either extreme of the the customer experience occur that I take the time to have my voice published. It was refreshing to sit with the owner, Daniel, on the front end design process of our outdoor kitchen and actually interact with the man who's name would ultimately be on the finished project. The care he took in "hearing" my vision was real, his suggestions for bringing the project to life were well thought out and the communicated timelines and bid were clear and accurate.

Once the project was started everything was very smooth. The work crews were friendly, focused and keep the mess of the work site as under control as anyone could reasonably expect. With all this said, what drove me to really create this review was the finished project and problem resolution skill set that Texas Patios employed. Anyone who has had any type of meaningful construction done at there home knows that "problems" are going to pop up when ideas or concepts turn into application. This job was no different, and Daniel personally tackled the challenge head on. We all collaborated to find a solution, and the "fix" ended up turning out WAY better than the original design decision. Talk about turning a frown upside down! Cudo's Daniel to you and your crew. I think you are as proud of the finished product as we are, and I look forward to working with you again in the future. Thank you for the work, time, professionalism and helping our outdoor kitchen project shine!

    $21,000

We wanted an outdoor kitchen, walkway, and gazebo. After reaching out to several contractors, I came across Texas Patios and Concrete. They had the best pricing and got the job done. I was kept updated on any changes or delays and we are very satisfied with the work done. We've received numerous compliments on our yard from neighbors.

    Cover patio and pool

Be aware - scam company - take money and they run

Comp name: Texas Patio and Concrete (they may change their comp name to commit more fraud, I included license#, owner name, DOB...hope it will help to spot them out in future)
License #: 0011827651 Register state: TX
    Owner: Juan Daniel Morales
    DOB: 04-19-1981

I signed a contract with Texas Patio and Concrete in May, 2021 for over 65K to build the cover patio to 1/4 over of the pool area. First they asked for a $500 deposit for the engineer drawings, HOA and City permit, which is reasonable, and as first they made us believe they are legitimate company with all fake good reviews online.

Anyway, before they collect the 50% deposit, they are very nice and responsive to our calls, texts... They submitted HOA and City permits then collected over 32K deposit (50%) then disappeared for 4 months. I called and called, texted, emailed...threatened for a legal path. Nothing to get them answer nor show up to work, until I posted bad review in September 2021, Daniel (the owner 940-299-2381) called back and blamed that our bad review killed their business, threaten me and asked me to take down the bad review (at that time all we see online was good reviews maybe from their friends and family). Daniel lied and told me that their attorney won't let them come to my house to work if I do not take the bad review off, I know he lied but on the other hand I just want my project to be worked (I know there is no way that they will refund).

Anyway, I took off the bad review. They sent out 2 guys who did not speak any English and who had no clue of what was going on. Ricardo (assigned as the project manager) never on site to show them what to do nor being responsive at all. The guys showed up 1 or 2 days then took off 2 weeks, the days that they showed up here, they worked for few hours and after 8 months they demolished halfway of the retaining wall above the pool, broke my pools and left it green up (see attached pictures will give you the idea). Daniel the owner came to my place on 12/23/2021 at 8pm (1 day before Xmas eve), and told me that his mom had cancer in Mexico and now he does not have any money left to do my project. Daniel said, he will send people out to put back my pool the way it was, 2 months gone by nothing happen, we called and calls, text and text...he ignored.

Friends - other than posting bad reviews on their business report them to BBB, what else can we do to those scammers, bad people to stop them from go around and commit frauds to others? They obviously try to collect 50% of each project (each customer) and run, or send someone to pretend work (actually mess up more) to buy time so they can get more contracts, more customers hooked.

if any one out there also in my situation call or text me 817-320-7727. We can take legal path with this guy to stop him for good from keep commit fraud to others. or if you want to see pictures (I have no way post pictures here).

Thanks for reading and please do not make the same mistake like we did. Our family is so depressed, stress, my wife screamed at me every time she step out to our back yard, why Cobi? why? why signed them 50% right away, why can it be 10% or 15% then see how they work to pay them more? we been begging them to come to work, buy foods and drinks for their workers every time they are here. Keep hoping that they will work, just because they behind like they said in this business it always 5 to 6 month behind. I am so stupid and I hate myself for believe what Daniel said. God!...why people out there can do such things? destroy other family for their benefit? To come up with that amount of money, it took us 7 year of saving and live under very tie budget. So we think we can build up something nice for our kiddos to enjoy...Daniel destroyed our dream and our house...if any one see our back yard and our pool now you will cry for us. Look for pictures on Yelp. Thanks

    patio, gabo and outdoor kitchen
    $25,000

This company is exceptionally unprofessional and sneaky. They lie a lot and try to cut corners all the time. When they came to pitch our project, we asked them to provide references because we cannot find any review online at that time except good reviews on buildzoom.com and their own FB page. After we hired them, our nightmare started. Ended up the owner, Daniel told us that his friends were his references. So do NOT believe any reference or positive reviews they have online. It's all his own friends but not real customers. Here are the list of nightmare we had

    1. Their so called "architect" has no concept how to draw up the design for city permit approval. They called it "drawings" were all wrong and need many times of revise to make it right. It took a month of back and forth before they can submit for city approval

    2. They told us the whole project will be done in 6 weeks. Ended up they disappeared after the city permit and never started job for another 2 months. Our project lasted 6 months and still not finish

    3. The owner and the project manager has no sense of how to build anything. When you ask them for advice, they don't know and will said it depends on your preference. So, if anything wrong, they can blame the customer. They tried to put the countertop on the kitchen which is NOT even level. They build the bar for the counter with 2" overhang. It's laughable.

    4. When you follow up with them, they will not reply phone call, messages and texts. They just totally ignored you. Then one day, all of a sudden a couple workers showed up to work without telling us in advance. That's their practice. They think they are the king and can come and go. They are the contractor who can tell the customers what to do and we just have to listen, shut up and just wait for them.

    5. The owner Daniel is very rude throughout the whole process. He will yelled and typed rude texts and said don't contact him after 5pm. He constantly lied to you on everything. They said it's their own inhouse employees but actually, they hired all sub-contractor who are very cheap, slow and do bad work. Later I heard from my neighbour who hired them before but cancelled contract, she told me Daniel actually lives in Mexico. he travel back and forth to get business. After our project was delayed 5 months, Daniel said he is coming back from Mexico and his mom has cancer and that's caused all the delay. It's up to anyone to believe it. They have people and project manager here but no one do anything work.

    6. The project Manager, Ricardo, was terrible. Not responsive, never on-site when the workers were here suppose to do the job. Some of the workers who can speak limited English will ask us what do we want to do. Ricardo never brief them anything about our project. Some Mexican workers cannot even speaker English so we cannot talk to them to ask question or anything. They did terrible job!! Obviously some cheap worker anyone can hire on the street

    7. They always failed inspection from the city and showed that they tried to cut corners all the time. Later, Daniel even was hostile and try to pick fight all the time, make up wrong accusations. He said "he needs money to keep his business going" so he tried to rushed our job after he got back from Mexico. He even tried to put in tile in our outdoor patio before the gabo and kitchen is done. No contractor will do such thing. Common sense tells us the floor is the final job

    8. Daniel always just show up without appointment. He thinks this is ok and normal as he is the contractor and can do anything. When we required him to make appointment because we cannot all of a sudden just stop work to talk to him, he then started to have No show on meetings he scheduled and No show even on conference call!!

    9. They required 50% upfront payment and was very insist about getting that. Now, we understand because that's how he made customers wait and can bully them later. My neighbour waited 4 months with nothing done but did not want to wait, they refused to give her back all the deposit but went ahead to cancel her permit.

    10. The job site is a mess! They broke our house ceiling and 3 window screens and refused to compensate us.

    Concrete slab and covered patio
    $10,000

Daniel and his team were wonderful to work with. After the initial permit process things went rather quickly. His workers were very courteous, showed up every day and on time, (except for one rainy day beyond their control), and cleaned up the building scraps and mess when they left. Out of three quotes Daniel was the lowest and was able to make our dream come true despite the high prices of building materials. Outstanding job and we are very happy with the concrete work and our new covered patio!!! Daniel and his team are honest and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. I highly recommend the services of Texas patios and concrete. You won't be disappointed!

Covered patio, outdoor kitchen, retaining wall, outdoor fireplace
    $35,000

We loved working with Texas Patio and Concrete. Our outdoor living area turned out even better than we expected it would. They extended our current covered patio, added additional slabs of concrete, outdoor kitchen, stone retaining wall and outdoor fireplace. I wouldn’t use anyone else for concrete or stonework.

    Patio cover

We contacted them after seeing a ad circular. I interviewed and got bids from three companies. I was very impressed with the president. He personally came to the house, did the drawings and measurements and gave me a fair bid. We went with them because of their references. They built us a beautiful 19 x 30‘ patio cover. It is absolutely beautiful and we use it every Saturday night for my live Facebook concerts. Everyone that comes over is absolutely blown away with how beautiful it is. It has become the extension to our home. Talk to me directly and I will send you pictures. 972–489-4135
