Scam artist took deposit and never showed up to do work or refund deposit this is ongoing since February do not use this scam artist, I have the persons driver license number on the canceled check am turning this over to state I have all timeline and texts for my entire involvement with this con. oh, by the way the address on all correspondence if just an apartment in an apartment complex NOT A REAL OFFICE I went there to confront them

First of I don't like to leave bad reviews.
I have been holding off on giving Texas Rodriguez Renovation. This review, giving them time to do something.
Small project size is 5x7 24 inches deep
3/5/2022 contract signed part 1 of 2 checks is handed over.
3/15/2022 start date 3/20/2022 complete date 3/15/2022
No show around 2 or 3pm I called I got the first of many different excuse. The start date is pushed back to the 3/28/2022. 3/28/2022 Again no show, and no text or call way no one came. I have to do the contacting, a few days later I get hold of someone. This goes on for 72 days of them giving me excuse after excuse of way's and we will show up's.
I finally said I'm canceling my project, and return my money
I give them 30 days to have my refund to me.
I have not received my refund.
If I receive my refund I'll mention that in a different review. -
