That Rustic Touch

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. You should never hire Art or That Rustic Touch for any type of job. He never finished the job and items went missing in my home. He took my money and left my home worse than before he came there. He chopped electrical wires and left the home in an unsafe condition. He lied to me about time, doing the work and material costs. He left the place dirty. I had to clean out the mess he left. I wish I could give him less than 1 star.

The work was completed in a timely manner, he was polite, corteous and was cheaper than 3 other contractors we looked at.

I was told my kitchen remodeling would take 2 weeks to complete. An emergency came up everyday. Many days he said he would be there, but never showed up. It's now 8 weeks & my kitchen still isn't done. I was told if I paid more money, it would be done faster & that legally he could take up to a year to complete my kitchen. He spent the money I gave him on other jobs. Then he started saying he is working for me for free. He is a scammer. I finally got enough sense to get rid of him. I brought another contractor in & he pointed out all the mistakes this one made. It's going to take a lot more money to correct his shoddy work. Save yourself time, aggravation & money, don't hire this guy. He is also associated with Quinn Construction of Pittston.

I would be very careful doing business with That Rustic Touch.
A complaint was filed with the State Attorney General against Quinn Construction Co. The company replied they were no longer in business as of October, 2015. Quinn was still doing business in November as a contract was signed under that name in November.. Later it was discovered the contractee's credit card company had paid That Rustic Touch unknown to the client. Zoning offices of two municipalities disapproved some of the work on several roofing jobs done by Quinn Construction Company. Quinn promised to contact parties involved and rectify things and as of this date has not. It appears Quinn Construction has conveniently gone out of business to avoid it's obligations and it's connection with that Rustic Touch is a mystery still to be discovered.
