We are a residential remodel firm based in Corvallis Oregon.

We do this first through understanding your goals and expectations. Then we plan meticulously, and closely manage our projects with clear communication and high craftsmanship.
We are not a high volume remodeler, which means that your project gets the attention to detail it deserves.

In the last few decades, Corvallis has built itself into a diverse community spanning college students to retirement communities. Through the last few years of development, Jared has been attending to these new market demands by developing his business to fit the new community needs.

Thayer Construction is the mid-valleys premier remodel company. Since the business has opened in 2014, it has been involved in bathroom remodels, garage conversions, deck and fence construction, as well as dry rot repair.

Owner, Jared Thayer, a Corvallis native, was raised in a family of builders and has a passion for remodels and building the business. Cheliss Thayer, Jared's wife, supports the office and administrative end of the business.

    Basement remodel

    Rushed basement remodel went off without a hitch.

    Jared and his team just did a wonderful job on our basement remodel and we are so grateful. This remodel followed a pipe break in December that was very financially and emotionally debilitating for us. All we wanted was to have the help of a professional who could ease the stress and make us feel cared for, calmed, and in control to the extent needed without the burden of micro management. Jared was perfect. The communication was top notch- he took the time to educate us as he went and listened to all of our needs and concerns. The suggestions he made were intelligent, in budget, and made the finished product so much better. All construction has setbacks, it's part of the process, but Jared and Joe were so on top of every detail that the small things that did come up were dealt with easily, succinctly, and quickly. We never fell behind nor did we see huge change orders rolling in.

    We are so impressed with Jared's craftsmanship and professionalism and recommend him for any size project. He is worth every penny.
