Contractor causing delay refusing to terminate notice of commence. *Consumer beware* - I hired (Home Depot)- Home Depot Home service which uses a contractor with several different names THD fencing , City Fencing and All about Fencing. all are the same location 7971 NW 56st Doral FL 33166. I went into contract for fencing on 09/24/2020. According to the contract my expected start date was 11/24/2020 and expected end 12/03/2020. This never happen my project never started until 02/23/2021 and completed 02/24/2021. On the first day installer took out the old fence including neighbors fence which had a pool and left without securing anything or informing anyone. Second day installer broke sprinkler pipes covered it up and not inform any one. I called Home Depot Home Service -Thd Fencing they said "they're not responsible it should have been marked". after calling Home depot cooperate office they sent a plumber the following day to fix it. You would think it would not get worst but I was in the middle of refinancing only to find out that ( All about fencing) as a Notice of commence on my property. I already paid $6152 in full for fence project from 10/30/2020. I request that they remove the notice of commence so I can go ahead with my refinance but they are yet to comply. I'm planning other home improvements but I will definitely not be using Home depot after this experience.
