If I could rate lower I would. Most dishonest person I've ever come across. We bought a patio home built by him and have had to finish many of his mistakes ourselves. Gutters leak, siding falling off, plumbing done incorrectly. the list goes on and on. As one other person in the development said" if his lips are moving He's Lying"

Mr. Serakowski was the general contractor for a $750,000 expansion of our church building, which was completed in 2009. During construction, he was rarely present at the work site. When sub-contractors had questions they had to ask our church's building committee chair, because he was the only one there (and he is not a contractor). Almost immediately we discovered significant flaws in the construction, and continue to find them. A few salient examples: (1) the plumbing for the men's restroom was installed outside of the insulation, so we deal with frozen pipes each winter; (2) the above ceiling high efficiency furnaces were not in conditioned space, and in fact about a quarter of our roof had no insulation at all; (3) the exterior siding was not attached properly and came off in a windstorm; (4) the flat roof was not installed correctly and we had to do remedial work to deal with leakage; (5) the nails are coming out of the shingles because the wrong material was used. The list goes one. Perhaps the most ludicrous (though not the most expensive) is that they ran a gas line directly across the access hatch to the attic/crawl space over the main room. We are very dissatisfied and angry about the poor quality of construction by the Alexander Group.
