After Hurricane Sally blew the roof off my house we got the number from a friend who is building a house. They came within a few days for an inspection and gave me an estimate several days later. After I paid the required 50% deposit the time line was 6-8 weeks. 4 weeks later I got a call to see if they could bring the materials out on a Thursday and start on Friday. The crew of about 20 people stripped the old roof off, applied the peel and stick and started roofing. By 10:30 the job was finished, the yard and debris were cleaned off and everything hauled away. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!

I was dissatisfied with the roofing work done at my residence in Dec of 2017. They failed to replace several areas of the roof where there was obvious dipping/sagging occurring...and proceeded to cover it over with new material and shingles. This work was done under the Strengthen Alabama Homes program so it seems silly for me to complain one would guess. I submitted pictures to BMC, State of Al. and the inspector required to follow the work. Now, I'm stuck with a roof line looking like it's Asian inspired in several spots. Whatever you do, get all work to be done in writing.. do not assume anything. "The best lesson is a bought lesson".

Used Ben Murphy after extensive flood damage to our home after hurricane sally. We still (6/19/21) havent been completed. They do not seem to make their customers a priority unless it is a personal friend. It took 3 months for them to install my shower. I still had to hire another plumbing contractor to finish the job. I was told by Ben Murphy that it would take 6 weeks to have someone measure the shower for the glass door. I have bedroom/closet doors that are hung so badly that they visible slant. I was told my walls were crooked... thats why they look slanted. A level tells no lies. We have been trying to get the doors rehung but keep getting reasons for the delay. I have been dealing directly with Mr. Ben Murphy and have no results.. Before you use this company, do your research. This is only a small list of the issues I have with the company. I cannot recommend them for any project.. no matter how small.
