Do not recommend this contractor. Doesn't listen to owner, does changes without approval. Blames all issues on others, even the owner, which is completely disrespectful and wrong. Wouldn't listen, only defends and blames. Although quality of work is acceptable, treatment of customer is unacceptable.

Do not hire this person. I dreamed of a new bathroom for years. First a tile setter trapped my cat under my roman tub and back boarded him in. I came home to hear my cat crying. Finally located him and had to rip out the work to get him out. Then one of the workers plowed into my daughters car totalling it and of course had less than adequate insurance. THEN one of his thieving, low life, bottom feeding gangbanger scumbag employees stole my wedding rings. Jim Johnston was notified and we asked him to at least make some compensation for our loss. He said he'd think about it and we never heard from him again. So, unless you can afford to take off work yourself and babysit his scumbag help...A police report was filed. My heart is broken and not a day goes by that I don't grieve. I'm sorry I ever had anything to do with this person. I won't ever be the same. Does jim johnston have enough guts to print this out and use it as a reference? You might not have been a decent enough person to make at least a small gesture to compensate our loss, but you WILL pay.
