    Poor construction management; uses cheap materials for generic items; over-prices change orders; owner is difficult to work with.

    Even though Hills's bid was significantly lower than 4 other companies, which gives pause, his track record - various other kitchens in the neighborhood, and his reputation with other professionals, made us choose Jude Castro's company to do a total kitchen remodel. Jude handled worked seamlessly with our architect and cabinet maker - he has worked successfully with them before so it easy to team them again. A finish carpenter himself, Jude was onsite most of the time attending to every detail and most importantly, tackling every unexpected issue with experienced savvy, including handling a show stopping major leak in the master bath by tastefully redoing the entire steam shower. He communicated every issue and milestone thus never presented any expensive surprises. The job grew some to include re siding two sides of our 100 year old colonial but every sub he used was A-team. I see him around all the time so evidently the word is out, you may have to wait in line to get him but you will be glad you did.
