  We’ve employed Russ from the Land Artist twice at our home in Eagle over the last several years (2018 and 2022). In my experience with other landscape contractors, we have found NONE BETTER for quality of workmanship and design. He is truly an artist. Russ far exceeds expectations while on the job and stops at nothing to ensure customer satisfaction. He thoughtfully listens to concerns and ideas and offers creative solutions. The end product is beautiful.

  Pool decking and yard landscaping

  I am very happy with the work done by Russ and his team. Russ listened carefully to what my vision was and helped me to create that space around a new pool build. The patio pavers are beautifully done and the workmanship is excellent. All crew members were respectful and professional.

  Pond tepair

  Our dissapointment is similar to other reviews. He constructed the pond 4 years ago at a house we bought. The pond has been leaking for well over a year and it’s still not fixed. He promises to come out, will dig something up and then never returns. We are planning a new house construction now and I would never use Russ. I feel that he tends to his million dollar projects in Sun Valley and then ignores the smaller projects that helped him build his business around here. We are at a loss trying to get our pond fixed before we sell this house.

  We contracted Russ to landscape our back yard, Brick patio with fire pit and grading to include sod and planting of tree's and shrubs. Also installed sprinkler systems to include irrigation drains. Beautiful Job but we have some drainage issues, awaiting his response prior to a rating #. more stars when finished

  Build a waterfall

  $5,500

  We had The Land Artist Company install a waterfall for us in May, 2016. The finished product looked beautiful - no complaints at all. However, we had problems with the waterfall beginning in July, 2016 and dealt with them for over a year with little to no resolution. Follow up service was awful, always over-promised and under-delivered. We were promised that we'd be called, or someone would be there or "we were the top priority" and it didn't happen. Several months ago we discontinued our relationship with The Land Artist and hired someone else who was able to discover the issue and fix it. While Russ is truly an "artist" in designing your waterfall and I'd give him 5 stars for that, he totally lacks in follow-up.

  Our experience with The Land Artist Company was disappointing. We had an agreed upon end date for completion of our landscape and our job did not get started until the end date. We were told 2-4 weeks for completion and it took 5 weeks. There were inconsistencies with work. Days when no one would show up, or we would be told someone was on there way and they wouldn't come for several hours. Our grading was done improperly and we have several areas with standing water. We also found out that they didn't install a port blow out for our sprinkling system. So we have no way to blow out our sprinkler lines this winter.
