  HORRIBLE experience with a thief … I paid Ken of RCP. $19,100 in Spring of 2021. He promised we’d be swimming summer of 2021.

  After filling out permits incorrectly, he was unreachable. Permits took 9 months for my husband and I to do. 8 months later ( after we had permits) , he never began our pool. He lied MANY times about beginning, even telling us to be home and clear our yard because he was coming to excavate.

  He never showed up. This was about the fifth time he was supposed to begin our pool.

  Between permit fees, surveys, and what we paid RCP, we are out over $24,000. He has told us he’ll refund our money, but has not, and I am guessing he never will unless legally forced to.

  He is absolutely unreachable by phone, e-mail, text etc. and now has blocked our numbers.

  Do not hire this company.

  STAY FAR AWAY!!! Broken promises of timelines, missed an entire summer with my pool, my backyard was torn apart for over a year for a project that should have taken a few weeks. Ended up firing them and hiring a new company. Water in the pool for a month and the plumbing started leaking that Ken installed requiring us to dig everything back up.

  With Covid, our pool was delayed by the manufacturer. Received an email from Ken stating that he would be unable to commit to installing until potentially July or August of 2022 - a full year out. He said it was up to us if we wanted to proceed and if we chose not to, he would fully refund the deposit. We decided to cancel the pool with the pool company and immediately received a FULL refund. I requested same from Ken and while he stated he would return the deposit, he has yet to do so........4 months later. He is clearly not a man of his word and would not recommend doing business with him. I am out $2500. I truly wish I had seen these reviews before going with the pool company's recommendation. BEWARE

  Ken T/A Red Carpet Pools is not a capable contractor. He had lied to us about time lines and does not show up for weeks or months at a time. We finally got to the point of filling the pool only to find out his installation is completely botched. The pool was installed 4-5 inches out of level and multiple pipe leaks along with the liner. Do not trust. I’m in a nightmare with this guy.

  Pools Install

  DO NOT USE! Many issues with the install not to mention dealing with them is painful. ALSO, 10 months later I had to replace my pool liner because of leaks due to bad install.

  This is for a family member who was told 3 times her pool would be taken care of before Memorial Day. Even getting a call that he was around the block and never showed up. Highly disappointed as all was planned for 2 weeks leading up to a party

  It was a great experience dealing Ken and the guys. Very friendly and knowledgeable. First time getting a swimming pool for my family and they made us feel good about our choice. Price was fair and quality was great. Looking forward to do my deck project with Ken next year. Thanks guys !
