Run the opposite way if you ever meet this guy!
On September 2020, we entered into a contract with The Roofsmith to replace our old shingles roof for a metal roof. We gave Danny (owner) 70% of the agreed amount in two checks. More than a month later, he removed the shingles and gutters; installed the underlayment and abandoned the job. No roof. No gutters.
He left our home unprotected. Before we were hit by tropical storm ETA, we contacted him and begged him to do something about it. After the shingles were removed, we noticed leaks in two bedrooms and the garage. We told him about it, yet he did nothing. Because the gutters were removed, we had floods in our enclosed patio.
I am pursuing legal action against this guy. I am filing complaints with every agency (DBPR, BBB, PBC, AG). He has to stop scamming people. -

We chose this company because of the high rating and the prompt response to get a quote and questions answered, but we are very disappointed with the RoofSmith, Inc. Since the day we paid 70% of the contract price it has been very difficult to get a hold of Danny Tomici (Owner of the RoofSmith, Inc.). They did not start the work the day we expected them to start. When they finally started, they failed the initial inspection twice and it has been three weeks since my roof has been exposed without any shingles at all and the material that has been already installed is starting to be affected by the weather. Danny Tomici keeps telling us the shingles will come this day and installation will happen next day but as of today we are still waiting for the shingles to be delivered and installed. We have tried to come to an agreement with him if he cannot finish the reroof job due to health or financial issues but all he says is he will get it done tomorrow and never shows up. We have had to chase him through e-mails, texts, and phone calls to get a hold of him. I am still hoping that maybe this review will make him finish the job or at least make him tell us what is really happening and why he cannot finish the job.

do not use this company doesn't honor contract. 2 year old roof leaking . contract stated that all flashing would be changed with the new roof. found out thru home inspection that the roof does not pass inspection, holes cracked tile, and broken stucco causing water to run into the attic. Danny the owner is a con artist. stated he would make good on the roof and he did not. I will see this scammer in court. dorothy herrmann
