Vertical Connection's price was 2k higher than their competitor's price and they wouldn't honor their price matching that they stated on their website. Prior to visiting their location, I talked to Steve their salesman. He stated that they do price match and I should visit their Columbia location near Wegmans. Once I got there we found the same Stainmaster carpet as the other retailer. Steve calculated the price and the price was 2k higher than I was quoted at the other retailer. The only thing that came out of Steve's mouth was that Vertical Connection provided supposedly better warranty. No other effort was made to win my business. If you do visit them, make sure you have price quotes from other retailers.
