Tim Whiting enjoyed a successful career in Media Relations—helping to start Anchorage Daily News in Alaska before being recruited by the Washington Times to serve as one of the five founding Directors.
In 1976 he started the Whiting Company, originally operating as Slocomb windows retail stores before branching out to roofing, gutters, siding, decks and remodeling projects.
To date the Whiting Company has successfully completed over 18,000 projects in the Mid-Atlantic region and is one of most reputable home improvement companies in Maryland.
