Back in 2007 Tom did a major gut job of the second and third floor of my house. It was an involved job that required skill and patience. So why am I writing about this now in 2016? Well, I'm having my house painted and having work done on the outside and I'm constantly having the shortcuts that Tom's guys did on my house pointed out to me. The work was shoddy. On the interior of the apartment, the countertops were the wrong height, they were completely befuddled by Ikea cabinets. Outside the facia boards were all crooked with gaps that let water in over the winter and created horrible ice dams. The windows used don't sit flat against the shingles. the roof is bowed out and the edges were cut with a sawzall. The put band-aids over the things I could see at the end of construction and now, 9 years later, I'm finding all mess of things that I just didn't know to look for.
The subs they used stole copper from from my basement and my tools went missing. This is just not a class act. I can't recommend this contractor at all.
