    Awful Service

    Deckorators Design and Build could very well be your worst nightmare for a contractor. I spent countless hours trying to contact Jon through email and phone calls to complete a job which was approved in August 2014, The “finished” deck, was completed 6 months after the contract was signed after numerous attempts on my behalf to get the job started. The work areas around the deck was left in disarray by the crew.The company will take your money but has a major problem delivering full contracted services.

    DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I cannot stress this enough. We signed a contract on March 14th, gave 45% down and now, on the contract completion date, we still have not received a start date, let alone had any work done. Emails and calls go unanswered for weeks and when he does respond it is with some lame excuse "I was sick" or "my phone broke and I couldn't get emails". Really? You're running a client based business and the only way you can get your emails are through your phone?
    So three days after signing the contract, his Home Advisors account was closed and a local news report came out on how he takes peoples money and then doesn't do the work or does it months after the contract date (link below). He has 17 complaints against him at the BBB. We are trying to get a refund since he clearly has no time to do the work. Yet he cashed our check the day after he got it, so what is he doing with the money?

    We had him cut a few doors to fit after having a new, plush carpeting installed in out house. Not only did he cut too much off of half the doors (that now look like "floodies" compared to the other neighboring doors), he got door hinge/bolt grease on our brand new carpeting. What makes this worse is that I even told him to lay a drop cloth to prevent stains and second, he didn't tell us. It wasn't until after he left that we inspected and found the mess. We do not recommend this company at all!

    do not trust this man

    This company never showed or called for the appointment. This should have been my red flag. Company showed up later hte following day and tried to sell me additional services, and wanted to make me pay upfront for the services. Damaged my property and took off. Contacted this co dozens of times only to be told differnet stories and misled to believe he would repair my property. Upon looking into this company further, there are a multitude of reviews and cases where this Co. must make a living off of taking deposits from individuals and then never completes the work. Better Business Bureau has not even been able to help recover monies this man has collected

    Do Not Hire!!

    Deckorators will take you for a ride. Never designed the project before they started, Built without the required county permits. Didn’t build what was requested and never finished the work. We are left with county code and permit violations, an unsafe structure and an unfinished project. What the did also ruined the existing structures

    They do not responded to e-mails and go against your wishes. It will cost us double to get it removed, fixed and rebuilt... Horrible . Stay Away!!!

    First of all this contractor advertises that he's BBB acreddited and He is NOT.
    Secondly this man was hired to install a patio and it resembles the LEANING TOWER OF PISA. Robert Berligeri does not know what he is doing and he is also a CRIMINAL.... look him up its public information on www.chesterfield.gov This man is a drug addict he was convicted of MARIJUANA and he owes everyone money as he has SEVERAL JUDGEMENTS AGAINST HIM. I WOULD NOT HAVE HIRED HIM HAD I KNOWN THIS.
