    Believe it or not, we engaged Tom in December of 2016 to help us design and renovate our bathroom space. Because we live in a historical district, we needed approval for the work not only from the NYC Department of Buildings, but also from the Landmarks Preservation Commission. It was quite a drawn out process (lasting nearly six months), and one that required a lot of back and forth between Tom and the city agencies. It then took another six months for us to hire a contractor to do the work.From beginning to end, we found Tom to be reliable and responsive, even though he is, apparently, a solo practitioner. He patiently revised our plans as our concept for the end result evolved, and made himself available to check the contractors' work as it proceeded. I am happy to recommend him without reservation.

    I used Mr. Curro after my father fell off my balancing and died due to faulty work of another contractor. Mr. Curro completed a plan for a new balcony and made sure all the proper permits and correction permits were filed as the initial contractors we hired never did any of those things. Mr. Curro was respectful of our time and helped to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner.

    Thomas j. Curro architect, pc is responsive and flexible to meet our needs with many changes we requested. He recommended other professional services like engineers to tailor to the project. Tom conducts himself professionally at all time. He is just hard to reach during the weekend but he always tries to respond via emails or texts.
