We hired Thompson Roofing to remove the original shake roof and replace it with a composition shingle. Our house is two stories (2300 sq ft) and the pitch to the roof is significant. They consulted with us first and we expressed some preferences, we wanted a vent moved in prep for solar installation. We also picked out the quality and color of single. At that time they gave us an itemized estimate of cost, which was half what the professional contractors quoted.
They came on the day agreed, was thorough, clean, considerate of our property and performed the tasks in a timely manner. During the procedure, they found two places of dry rot on the facade. They asked about our plans in order to match the wood and we were having the house resided and painted next so we didn't care about color, we just wanted an airtight seal and the paint would cover it all. They did an excellent job of giving us what we want. When the job was done, they had reattached everything previously on the roof, antennas, gutters and etc. Three years later, we couldn't be more pleased with Rodney's work. If we had to do another roofing job, he is the first one we'd go to
