We had a negative experience with Thornton Custom Homes and Associates. We found their business practices unethical. There was a lack of quality from some sub-contractors and definitive lack of quality control by the company. This company did cut corners in our build. When agreed upon third party professional reviewed and recommend fixes, they never returned to solve the problems. Reminder: just because something looks nice does not mean it was done well.

Our experience was a very positive one. We chose Thornton Custom Homes due to their extensive experience and knowledge and felt very comfortable doing business with them. We found Trey to be very helpful and informative and kept us updated throughout the whole process. We love our home and have no complaints. Highly recommend!

We had a terrible experience. We bought a brand new house Trey build from himself. We had one year warranty to fix the house. He didn’t fix the house completely and his staffs didn’t show up the day they supposed to come to my house and need to call them again and again. It was “not” easy to work with him. Wish his after care was professional.

I would highly recommend Trey Thornton at Thornton Custom Homes. Trey has built hundreds of homes. He was easy to work with, responsive, and very creative in using left-over rock, etc. to give our home special custom touches. He even sent us photos of advancing construction when we were out of town. Building our dream home was a very pleasant experience. Give Trey a call if you're thinking of building or remodeling.

Worst experience! Trey took 2-year to complete punch list. Warranty company had to get involved. Trey had one of his painters trying to replace shower tile. He had his brick guys cut an expansion joint after house inspection. He has a short memory after houses sell. He came to do inspection for punch list and never took notes. He felt after several months that we were adding things to punchlist. It was a brand new house. What could we possibly add? he just doesn't take pride on his worksmanship and customer servive after houses sell. He was very nice on the phone and promised to get things done. it just tok to long and he complained at the very end about doing his job.
