    Kema Tillman is a liar and a thief. My agent and I met with him in September 2024 about building my new home. Right off the bat, he asked me for $3,500 deposit for obtaining blueprints, permits, takeoff, and overhead. I provided him with blueprints. He told me it would take about 10 days and no more than 10 hours of administrative time to prepare a construction budget proposal. My agent and I communicated specific budget lines that needed to be included such as swimming pool, outdoor kitchen and living area, etc. After one of my conversations with him, he assured me those would be included. When I received the proposal 3 months later, none of the requested items were in it and the budgeted numbers were way off. He included his profit in the individual budget lines and also in a separate line of his commission which was well in excess of $100,000. When my agent questioned the budget, he ceased communication with her and tried to circumvent her. When it became apparent that I could not proceed with him as my builder, I requested detailed receipts of my money spent (as he promised in an email) and a refund for the rest. He informed me that the deposit was his commission. When I reminded him that he requested the money for four specific items and promised to provide me with detailed receipts, he sent me a 1-page letter listing his expense and giving me $390 refund. Basically, he never contacted anyone about material or labor prices and pocketed $3,110 for no service. In the end, I am glad it was just $3,110 he stole from me and not the hundreds of thousands of dollars out of the whole contract.

    Without going into details, it started out with professional response, walk through and estimate. Then it went to no communication, inconsistent information, no call-no show, and questionable financial activity. Needless to say although our home repairs are further delayed, we were able to end all ties to avoid further problems.

    My experience was amazing. I was so worried and I had so many questions. I thought it would be a stressful process. I contacted Till Co. and my questions were answered during the phone call. I scheduled a walk through and they sent a tech the next day. I ended up with a beautiful tile shower and tile floor. We were so impressed we update are contact. I'm finally getting my man cave. ?

    My husband and I are senior citizens in Ellenwood, Georgia who needed a contractor we could trust.
