Top soil, concrete, grass, drip system, etc.

Do not work with this person unless you want to end up with damaged plants, a torn-up yard, lost money, endless stress, and broken promises.

At first, he lured us in by quoting an extremely competitive price, insisting he would deliver “quality work.” He aggressively called almost every single day until we finally agreed. Trusting his words, we went ahead. Big mistake.

We invested hundreds of dollars on plants and additional materials for him to install, only for everything to be left half-done. He started digging up our front and backyard, left plants sitting there to die, and abandoned the drip system he promised would be finished in 1–2 weeks.

Then came the excuses. Suddenly there were family emergencies, illnesses, trips, the stories kept changing week after week. He said he was out of the area, traveling far. But the truth surfaced when a friend told me he was actively visiting their property to provide estimates at the exact same time he claimed to be “unavailable” to us. (I gave my friend his number before he started the work with us because he had a good quote).

This isn’t just poor service, it’s deceit. He has a licensed contract with us, yet ignored timelines, dodged questions, and left our home in complete disarray. If you are a licensed contractor, you are expected to honor your commitments and stick to reasonable timelines. What we experienced was nothing short of fraud.

To make matters worse, he aggressively demanded money outside of the agreed contract terms. He even asked us for gas money, claiming he couldn’t leave because he “had no gas or money to get home.” This is unacceptable and highly unprofessional behavior.

I’ll admit, the only thing he did right was pouring some concrete, and even that cost us thousands of dollars before he disappeared. Everything else has been a complete mess.

Now we are left with dying plants, a yard that is completely unusable, and heartbreak over the time, money, and trust wasted. The stress he caused cannot be overstated.

⚠️ Please, do yourself a favor: avoid this person at all costs. Save yourself the financial loss, emotional toll, and the nightmare we are now living through.
