By LarkinFebruary 18, 2022Pour and finish concrete
I framed my pad and did the rebar work. I hired this company to pour what turned out to be 163 yards of footings and a 96’x54’ pad. The last concrete truck delivery was not adjusted so approximately five yards of concrete was paid for and wasted. I was warned on a pad my size I might end up with a few bird baths (puddles). I had a puddle nearly an inch deep covering 40 percent or more of my pad. I just got done leveling the interior walls be having to shim them and squeeze mortar repair under the walls so the ceiling boards will sit flat. This might be a company who could adequately pour a small pad but I can’t recommend it for a large pour. The concrete work has cost me money and worst of all frustrating time.

I had a 24 x 40 shop that I needed footings and a pad for. This place is out in the middle of nowhere, and Tim and his Crew were the only ones to come out to the site, discuss and agree on a price. VERY picky schematics for the permits, using almost double the amount rebar a "normal" job would take. In one day, footings dug, all rebar and framing done. Over 2 hours away from Prescott Valley, the concrete had to have a special chemical added as to not solidify in the trucks. Day of pour: 3 full trucks show up, lay everything out and smooth level. Week later came back and cut the control joints for expansion.
Shop went on the pad 2 weeks later without a hitch. Metal laid straight without much gaps between the concrete, easy enough to seal. To this day (pad was poured 08-AUG-21) there are no cracks or issues with the concrete. Looking him up now to actually pour a pad in front of the shop. Will report back on this job too.
