Tim's Quality Construction & Restoration

I had an awful experience with this company. I'm going to make a very long story short. Work was not performed and I was taken for $1,850.00. Tim and his partner Dale Dittman are CROOKS. If you want to go further in to doing some background checks on Dale look him up in the VA COURT CASE INFORMATION website under STAFFORD COUNTY. Found guilty of CONSTRUCTUON FRAD AND OBTAINING MONEY UNDER FALSE PRETENSE ect... This company started the job without a building permit, took a draw on the job thn told me that I would need a permit for them to complete the job. Their famous words "I WILL BE THERE TOMORROW".. BEWARE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. PURSUING THEM WITH CRIMINAL CHARGES which Dale Dittman is no stranger too.

Hello Buildzoom family & friends. I jus want to say this is a great company to do buissness w/ they are very knowledgable of construction . They built my addition cost efficient and ahead of schedule. It was a pleasurable experience not jus a project . Great company highly recommended.

Tim's came to do my in-laws stamped concrete patio. Don't quite know where to start w the poor quality..
1)lower patio was poured directly onto clay soil w rebar laying on the ground
2)existing failing brick steps and rubble were framed in w wood and poured over
3)concrete was 3.25" thin w no base
4)upper patio was "secured" to foundation of house w a 1/2" hole w a piece of rebar stuck in it w zero way of holding tight, I could pull it out by hand and they just poured over it
5)rebar is supposed to be in the concrete not under it and they said they were raising it as they go but I watched and they poured right over that too!
6)I asked a simple question and Tim snapped that no questions will be answered cause I'm not the one writing the checks!
7)$32K for garbage...
8) It's amazing he named his company "quality"
9)Also, his own laborer told me they brought labor from 7-11 with them onto the job site in Clifton, Va! Crazy!

They responded in a timely manner, but I haven't yet contacted them.

I have worked with Tim's quality construction and restoration on several different occasions they do great work . These guys really know how to come in and get the job done . When I had questions about certain things they knew the answer and new how to go about doing it. They also knew how to do more than just one phase of the construction so it allowed me to just deal with one contractor.

When getting in contact with Tim's Quality construction I had already had two contractors come to my home and give me a quote. Tim would have been my third quote.

The following is the reason why I didn't even go as far as having this company enter my home. Tim's just seemed very unprofessional. This email was written by Tim,

"hello Quindy how r u? hope all is well ill try to gv u a call tmrw we can try to schedule something thanx."

It looked like a teenager was texting me and not a professional that would be cutting into my foundation wall! This made me a little uncertain about hiring him. Also he proceeded to call at 8 am on a Sunday morning and then again an hour later. He just seemed too desperate. I then sent him an email stating that I have decided to go with one of the other contractors that had already given me a quote. This is his response,

" I wish you would have just said that from the beginning you had me you let me to believe that you wanted me to give you an estimate thanks for wasting my time"

I guess he thinks he is the only one on this website and I guess first impressions don't matter in his business. Bottom line, if a contractor can't handle his business in a professional matter then I can't go forward and trust his work. It needs to be appropriate from the beginning. The whole point for Build Zoom is to have several contractors compete for the costumers.

Great guys very professional company they really know what they are doing . I recommend them for your home needs
