Tip Top Builders

I was hoping this project would be done . Never happened. No foundation work, no flooring, no electrical and no special windows. This contractor, Timothy Kenneth Husted with Tip Top
Builders took $ 7954.00 from me and ran with the money. He has not offered a refund nor did he ever plan to do the work . He is a con, has you pay an associate so the account is not in his name and has avoided calls , texts, meetings and always has an excuse. His address is questionable . I am going thru every channel to get him to pay me back or maybe I can arrange jail time . Beware! Look at Facebook and BBB. You will be shocked. He does not give his last name until it is too late for the consumer.

What a nightmare. Run!
Crews are unsupervised. Not supplied materials to do the job. No one even has a truck to haul supplies.
Concrete truck stuck in backyard. Damages and payments coming to us (homeowner) because company not paid. Tim does not even pay his own crews and people.
Tim's word and commitment and calendar for the project mean shit. The most dishonest person I've ever met.

My opinion Same as Gary K. on September 4, 2021, Roger S. on August 30, 2021, and Termaine on August 15, 2021. Mine was a simple fireplace remodel with cabinets on one side and firewood box on the other. I originally wanted stacked stone from floor to ceiling, but changed to shiplap which would be easier to install. The project started good, Tim had a person there in a timely manner and did minor demo and floor framing for the the cabinets. Then screeching halt to the work. Contacted Tim numerous times about continuing the work and ordering the cabinets and other material for the project. Tim stated he had manning issues, but the materials were order and will be delivered. Contacted again and Tim kept saying he had the cabinets and materials and they would be delivered...nope, never delivered, I was lied to. I finally asked for a refund of the remaining portion of the deposit and Tim said he would bring it to me. Well as of the review, he hasn't. I got taken. I wish I had glowing reviews of Tip Top as others wrote here, but I can't, just another dishonest General Contractor.

driveway turned out wavy and uneven. They wouldn't reframe the driveway after the boards warped because it would cost them some money, so they poured as it was. Horrible. And wanted the final payment before the work was completed. Their crew were borrowing my tools, screws, sawhorses and even shoes. Do not use

Worst Contractor I have ever used. Workers not showing up when promised. Problems with workers laying floor properly. Scratched wood flooring moving furniture and marred walls with furniture. Tim would not properly monitor work being performed and would not remove trash when promised. I ended up telling him I was done with his failed promises, inexperienced workers, and failure to pay his tile layer. The tile guy stated Tim was suppose to pay him but would not respond to his phone calls so he wasn’t coming back to finish the areas he was suppose to tile. I ended up paying the tile worker $950.00 to come back and finish the tile job he had started. This guy Tim in my opinion should not be hired by anyone wanting repairs to their home. Very bad experience! I have personally paid the tile guy to have all the tile work completed and personally hauled off all the trash left by Tip Top Builders.

Paid them a 50%, $2000 deposit. The crew quit after 2 days of work Time disappeared with the money. Tiptop builders is ran by thieves and swindlers.

Tim was fantastic! He made sure our fireplace looked exactly like we wanted. He was straightforward and very reasonable about pricing. He made the whole process easy. We will definitely be using Tip Top again for future projects!

Fantastic experience! Very timely and helpful. Needed expert getting my business open and ready. By far exceeded my expectations. As new problems popped up she had excellent Solutions.

They did a whole house renovation for me. Added a bathroom and redid 3 bathrooms... installed 2000 sqft of LVP flooring. Price was fair and they came up with some innovative fixes for a house that had an unusual floor plan... great work in the bathrooms... would recommend

Superb! Tim was hands on and we really appreciate it! From start to finish he had great ideas to pull the project together.
