    I purchased a home that had fresh work performed by Jesse Gregory. I was told that the roof was fixed to where it would not leak. The roof leaked the first rain. I tried to get in touch with Jesse to no avail. The work performed by Jesse Gregory was very average where the work was not failing already. Additionally, in an invoice I received for the work he did, he claimed to have replaced the bathroom fan with a new one. The fan however was discovered to not of been replaced (the date on it was 1991, additionally it was rusted heavily). I can understand to some extent "cheap" work being performed due to cost constraints, however lying on an invoice should not be a normal practice.

    Do not hire Jesse Gregory, he does not have the skills or ethics to be trusted. On a scale of 1-10 i would not even give him a 1. i hired Jesse from a friend of a friend, they were a young couple with a baby on the way. i wanted to support a young family new to the area and help build their business. I hired Jesse in March of 2011, a job i already had quoted from a reputable company (Signature Design) as a four month job with a $70,000 budget. I hired Jesse Gregory and 2 1/2 years later the job is far from finished. Foundation for the addition was poured in August 2011 and the addition was not in closed in until January 2012 It is now July 2013 and we are still on a subfloor. I paid him $7000 a month for materials and after $42,400 in payments he told us the money was gone. At that time all we had was an non enclosed shell of a room being rained that would someday be our kitchen/family room. After all payments to Jesse minus the material receipts he was paid $38,000 for labor out of a $70,000 budget. He admitted his soon to be ex-wife at that time took about $6,000. Still comes up $24,000 short. He gave no explanation, it was just gone. With $64,000 spent out of our $70,000 budget we had no money to hire another contractor. We were stuck with Jesse Gregory to finish the construction on his timeline; a weekend or evening here and there. As of today 2 1/2 years later he refuses to work on the house anymore longer. He even has the gall to post our picture of the addition on his website, He did not ask for permission. I would love to post the interior pictures of all the unfinished work 2 1/2 years later. We were nothing but kind and patient, even got him jobs on the side to keep him going. After all our kindness and patience I am very disappointed in his lack of ethics and not even finish the job! He stole $ money from us!, Do not trust, do not give him any money. You would be better off hiring anyone else. You cant get much worse than a liar and a thief.
