Manny and his father Jose did a concrete walkway in front of my home. It looked very nice initially after the pour and before it dried. They said due to the possibility of rain that night, they would place a plastic tarp over the concrete to protect it. The trouble was they used a couple piles of wood chips from my yard to secure one end of it. The sheet blow off overnight due to winds and the piles of dirt settled onto the concrete leaving permanent ugly brown stains right by my front door. I complained to Manny and was told he or his father would come back out to clean it and not to worry. They failed to show up on 3 separate occasions as promised and didn’t even call. Besides the unsightly stains, the concrete dried with large blotchy sections that never lightened. The walkway looks terrible and I’m out $3,000. I would NOT recommend this company. Professionals don’t use wood chips/dirt to secure a tarp and they failed to remedy their mistakes. Guess I know now why they preferred cash and were sketchy about giving me an invoice.
