    Don't ever hire Mr. Hill. He is a con man and your project quote and time will increase daily. Our original quote was $3000 and 3 days of work. Long story short its month 3 and we are in over $15000. He never filed for a permit, got busted by the county inspector, had a stop work order put on the repair, and to top it off signed the documents with my husband's name and told the inspector he was my husband and then quickly wanted the last of his payment. Unfortunately we we found out after paying him he had his license pulled last year and has fines waiting to be paid. This has been a nightmare and we are still trying to get it fixed. The county inspector is supposedly going to press fraud charges on him. He's absolutely a despicable human being!

    Travis Hill is a smooth talking con artist and a fraud. He started a construction project at our home in River Strand, took our money, lied about having the required building permits and when we called him on it, he vanished - along with a substantial amount of money we advanced him. Many of our neighbors in River Strand had the same experience. We reported him to the county sheriffs office as well as the Bureau of Professional Businesses in Tallahassee. Nothing was ever done about it. Caveat Emptor where this contractor is concerned.

    I hired Travis Hill Contruction to extend my lanai,, install pavers, landscape, hang TV's etc. The company provided inadequate service and has not showed up to complete the job. He never returns any calls, he's unprofessional, used vulgar language and made sexual gestures. I unfortunately paid him in full and I'm sad to say he has done this to 2 of my other neighbors. I'm calling the news paper, TV station and submitting all info to our association, hopefully his company will be Denied work in our neighborhood.

    I hired Travis based on a referral from an employee of the builder of our development. We purchased a new villa and wanted to extend our lanai. As we went with him about that, he pointed out they also do electrical work. I had a quote for $1,400 which he frowned at and implied it was too much. After all was said and done ( Brian did the work and was awesome), the bill was $2,400 and he would not respond to my calls and texts but instead sent Brian to discuss with me-very unprofessional of the boss! To top it off, it's been 6 months and he is not responding to me about completing the lanai work. Worst contractor I've ever encountered! I'm preparing to file a complaint against him with our developer so hopefully they don't grant him permits to do more work here until he finishes what he started! Do not use this guy - he's a shyster and a con artist.

    We had extensive remodeling of our home by TL Hill. To say we were disapointed is certainly an understatement. Mr Hill was very willing to communicate w me,until he was paid the majority of the money,then he suddenly became quite difficult to reach. After months of calling,and waiting to have the job completed, I did finally reach Mr Hill,only to be responded to with vulgarity and disrespect. We hired amoyjer comtractor to finish the work,and will certainly will advise everyone we can never to use TL Hil.
