During the housing colasp builtva house for us. We tried everything to get approved for the house. She would raise the price, she took our jeep as colateral to help us nothing worked. My husband even took his retirement out to help. We kept asking for a contract for rent to own, she said she woild get it to us. She let us move in as long as we paid her a check every month. We did as she asked thinking it was going towards a down payment. We asked for the contract again so we could use his retirement money. She never did get back to us in time to redepost it back into his account. So we would ask she would just ask for the rent. We would leve it at her house no calls would be returned. We had to pay to get the septict fixed when it should have been covered by the work warranty. One day she called and asked for the rent check this was around on the 20th of the month. We gave her the check on the 1st of yhe month. We then found out she was using it for something else. Not to pay for or on the house. She said what does it hurt. You have two incomes I dont have any. I understand things were bad I felt bad for her but still to lead us on was wrong. I absolutely loved that house it was the house of my dreams and poof gone. So that is just what it is a dream.
