We recommend Tom Paton Construction. Mr. Paton is the best and most transparent contractor we have ever worked with.
He gives you a detailed estimate after you have described the work you want done, and then consults with you through every step of the process. He will recommend appliances he knows are dependable if you are unsure of what to buy, or, better yet, will let you pick out what you want so that you always know the costs involved.
He will also advise on what materials work for countertops, cabinetry, etc.
The operation is a family business, but it also has other professionals on call, such as an electrician and a cabinet maker, depending on what is needed. Rebecca Paton, the company bookkeeper, sends you an invoice as work is completed so you can stay within your budget.
A bonus for people who are not too keen on design or decorating, Ms, Paton is handy for that, too. She was extremely helpful in that regard.
There are no hidden costs with this company, and the work is topnotch. You will not be disappointed.
