Ramiro Perez
Sole Owner
My husband and I contracted Ramiro Perez of Top Level Coatings, and we strongly advise against hiring him. He demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism and integrity throughout our project. We hired him to paint our deck, and he chose the wrong materials—Behr Ultra Stain-Blocking Paint & Primer and Behr Marquee Exterior Satin Enamel—which are wall paints and not meant for decks. As a contractor, he should have the basic expertise to know what products are appropriate for deck surfaces. To make matters worse, something he did killed a large section of our lawn, likely from dumping paint or solvent on it.
Although he initially admitted fault, he later refused to correct his mistakes because he did not want to follow the proper process we requested. Instead of making things right, he abandoned the job, leaving us with damage to both our property and our lawn. We are seeking legal counsel and will be reporting him to the licensing board for his unethical and careless behavior.
