We were referred to Top Notch by a co worker. I called Derrick and he scheduled our estimate. Was very nice, professional and punctual. He got us our quote the very next day. Their interior work is second to none. They also did our roof amd gutters. Guys are amazing and professional.

Derrick is a hack. His roof was poorly installed. It leaked immediately. The gutters look like a 2nd grader did them.

I was referred to Top Notch by a friend who had their roof done by them earlier in the summer. I called Derrick for an estimate and he made it a point to come at my convenience. He came out and answered all our questions. He gave us our quote on the spot. We scheduled a date and the day before they started on the roof the materials and dumpster were at our house. Our entire roof was done in 2 days. Before they left they ran magnets for about an hour making sure no nails were in our landscaping or grass. I referred them to my in laws and actually got a call from Derrick thanking me. Punctual, Considerate, and courteous.

I had some roof damage, as a result of a bad windstorm. I called Top Notch to get an estimate of what the repairs would cost. Derrick was at my house within the hour and gave me a reasonable estimate. I told him I would let him know, if I decided to go ahead with the repairs. He said he would call me the following week. He did call, as promised, and I scheduled a day to have the work done. The workers arrived on time and were up on my roof within minutes. They worked fast, but thoroughly. They were courteous and cleaned up any mess that they created. Derrick called me the following day to ask if I was pleased with the work. Of course, I said yes! From my experience with Top Notch, I would not hesitate to recommend them, without hesitation.

"you get what you pay for"...so true...I had water coming into the house (a rental property) and Derrick took a look at the roof and quoted me a number that was lower than 3 other bids. I also got a quote for vinyl siding. He wanted cash (always suspect), but I thought the roof was in bad shape since there was water damage around windows and ceilings...I asked Derrick to look at the gutters, but he said they were ok...after replacing the roof 4 months ago, there is still water damage and it turns out the gutters were the problem all along...which he must have known, he's the expert! I have had several other contractors look at this work since completion, and they were all surprised that he did not catch the gutter issue. I think he stood to make a lot more money on a roof than a gutter repair, so he told me I needed a roof. His workers also removed a light fixture from the outside wall and didn't return to replace it, they left a heavy trash can full of roofing debris ( I can't even move it!), they left a bunch of debris in the gutters after the roof was replaced, which I had to point out to Derrick from the dormers...he apparently never checked his workers' completed jobs...I also had to point out several nails in the roof shingles...which eventually would have leaked. He patched the holes with some goop...I hope it holds. I asked for work on the chimney..a chimney cap and some mortar work...he told me they capped the chimney, which I can't see from the ground. It was not done. He also never go back to me on several other issues we discussed...patching around the bottom of the house, etc. His workers started parging the foundation, but did not finish, and it looks terrible. They put cement all over the steps to the house, and it is rough and unfinished. All in all, I am disappointed in the lack of detail and lack of customer service with this business. I am also worried that the roof is not going to hold up and I will have problems in the future. Time will tell, I guess. I have no confidence that this company will not stand by their work.

Just purchased a home that had been flipped by Top Notch Construction, unfortunately the home is nothing close to "Top Notch".
After seeing pictures of the house prior to their work with the walls stripped to the studs, we were extremely disappointed to find that the house has ZERO insulation, and the wiring was not up to code. STAY AWAY!!!! Thousands of dollars to fix what was supposedly "Top Notch" to live safe in a new home. Extremely disappointed and will never recommend this company to ANYONE. -

I had work done on my roof three years ago and because the contractors did not do the job correctly I started having problems with water coming into my windows. The contractors came out several times and could not fix the problem. Finally, I contacted Top Notch and they were able to fix the problem. I worked with the owner, who was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to identify the problem and correct it in a timely manner. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend him to family and friends. R. Alexander

Worked with the owner who was extremely patient and professional through out the whole process I will be the first to say I nor my wife are the easiest customers I am very demanding of quality and this company was one of the first that let me totally satisfied with the level of work they performed I have already recommended them to several friends and co.workers and feel top notch plumbing and construction has the true recipe for success

I was very satisfied with Top Notch. I needed some interior work done and my roof. I called Derrick to schedule my estimate and he came out the next day. He was very nice, professional and punctual. He gave me my quote on the spot and it was very reasonable. They came on the scheduled start date and came everyday until the entire job was complete. There work is second to none. When the job was complete Derrick gave me all my warranty info for my roof. Couldnt be happier.
